Lou, Pink Floyd, another one of my faves! Should start a thread for them also.:hilarious: Actually tho--my husband had to turn me onto Pink Floyd. Wasn't a fan till about 20 years ago and can't believe how great they are. David Gilmour is truly amazing!

Aah, Pink Floyd is one of my all-time favourite bands - definitely in my top three! David Gilmour was gorgeous when he was younger (another pre-Don crush!) I love Roger Waters' lyrics. Their music is incredible. I listened to Echoes and was completely blown away by how atmospheric it was and how those weird sounds suddenly gave in to these beautiful harmonies. Then, eleven minutes later, still lying on my bed, drifting in and out of sleep, those harmonies cut in again. I was amazed that I was still listening to the same song. I'd never heard anything like it. That's where it all started, for me.
