This is great...I love Joe!! He has tried more than once to steal me away from Glenn. He almost succeded when he played the Confessor in his live chat. That really blew me away. He was playing some licks to warm up his hands and just the warm up was beautiful. But, alas, it was not quite enough to steal me from Glenn. :lol:

I've said before that all of the guys have unsuccessfully attempted to steal me from Glenn a time or two. I remember being charmed by Joe in his online chats before too, Lissa. ;)

No Kate, you just have to sign up when you want to enter chat. It's just that the fan club members are the ones who get the announements, so the rest of us often don't realize they're happening in time.

Thanks for taking the time to scan and post these. It's interesting that Jimmy Page played a part on Song for Emma, even if it didn't get used (which I think was the right decision)!

My pleasure! Yes, I thought that was interesting about Jimmy Page, too. Joe had some other impressive backing musicians there too! I liked his compliment to Don, helping him with his singing technique. The interviewer slightly glossed over what 'Song For Emma' was about, I thought.


I haven't actually got So What - looks like it should go on my Christmas list, especially as it has 'Help Me Through The Night' on it.

I have Help Me Through the Night, Joe's version, on his "Best of" Master's collection. It's nice, but I definitely prefer the Eagles version live.
