Hi Guys,
Just found this board and have to say how lucky you guys are being able to see Joe in the US.We English fans get him in the Eagles, but his only solo UK gig was at Wembley in 1975. I was there - still have the copy of ZigZag magazine with the review in it - and just about remember it.
Incidentally the mag also has a Pete Frame rock family tree for Joe in it. Would anyone like me to scan this and put it on the board?

I'll try and scan the whole article - it's got a review of the concert and a couple of photos. Be patient tho' I may need to do a bit of work in Photoshop as the mag is 33 years old!!

Oh, okay. I lived in various spots around Oxfordshire - Botley, Bladon and Kirtlington. After I left for the US my father moved back into the city. I still have family spotted around - Witney, Kidlington mostly. I miss it and don't get back there as much as I'd like :-(

Welcome to The Border Martin!

That's very cool that you saw them in 75 and thanks for the scans of your magazine!

Hi Martin, and welcome to the Border from another Brit. I was a med student in London in the 70's, and now regret missing out on the music scene then. That concert must have been awesome. Thanks for sharing your memories with us!
