Well, Lissa, Bree, and I just made it to our hotel at 4:00 am, so the detailed review will have to wait. Let us just say that it was a terrific show. He sang with heart and even played piano on several songs and sang without a guitar for one song (hear that Julie?! lol). The place was packed and by the end, even the geezers were on their feet. Looks-wise, he wore the shiny suit with a black shirt and wingtip shoes. The black shirt was partially unbuttoned and he was wearing a chain around his neck. His hair was shorter than it was in England. Here are the most important things in brief:

1) Bree got to meet Glenn! A woman with a VIP pass saw me and recognized me from London. She tried to get us backstage passes but could only get one. We decided that since Lissa and I had gone to Pebble Beach, Bree should be the one to go to the backstage meet'n'greet. I will let her give you more details, but the highlights are that she got a photo with Glenn, had his arm around her shoulder (and hers around his waist) and was able to give him a sticker that said "Tough Guys Wear Pink."

2) There was merchandise! Two types of shirts - a T-shirt and a baby doll shirt. They said "Prelude to Obscurity Tour 2006." They also gave the tour cities. Which leads to...

3) There are a couple more cities that he is playing that we did not know about - they might be private or just not publicized. He played a private show near Jacksonville, FL a couple nights ago. He will play in Milwaukee after Rama and Cincinnati after Atlantic City.

4) There were two never-before-heard songs! One was called "I Love to Watch a Woman Dance." It was very sensual and romantic. Glenn stood at the mic, no guitar, minimal instrumentation, and he sang with such soulful vulnerability and passion it took our breaths away. It was a soft, slow song. It poetically describes a visual of a beautiful woman dancing, told from the point of view of the man who is in love with her. Lyrics include things like "her hips circle slowly" and "I feel her breath on my neck" etc. etc. You get the idea. Oh how hot!!!!

The other was something he said was dug out of his old demos and was written with a Southern jazz musician named Hinton (I think). It was called "I'll Come Running Back to You." It was upbeat, catchy and jazzy (as you might guess!) The chorus went something like "Just call out my name / I am not ashamed / I'll come running back to you."

5) The setlist was so much better than I thought it would be. It included SOME KIND OF BLUE!! Here it is in total:

Peaceful Easy Feeling
Lyin' Eyes
Some Kind of Blue
The One You Love
Silent Spring / Tequila Sunrise
I Love to Watch a Woman Dance
No More Cloudy Days
Take It to the Limit
I'll Come Running Back to You
You Belong to the City
Smuggler's Blues
Who's Been Sleeping in My Bed
The Heat Is On
Heartache Tonight
I Hear You Knockin'
Some Kind of Wonderful
Take It Easy
Desperado

That's all for now guys.

WHAT A NIGHT!!!!!!!!!

Oh my gosh. OH my GOSH. I met Glenn Frey!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That made my whole life. Oh my GOD. Okay, so you know the basics that someone Nancy knew from London came up to give her the pass. I couldn't believe it was really a meet'n'greet and not one of those little backstage tour things. I also couldn't believe that the two ladies I was touring the Midwest and Ontario with were actually ANGELS and were sweethearts enough to give up a chance to meet Glenn (it doesn't matter if they already had done so or not--it's still a huge, huge thing) so that I could do so, as I was the only one of the 3 of us who had not yet obtained the Holy Grail. ;) So I took the thing, shaking like you wouldn't believe, and got up to get myself organized... And when I was leaving, I asked Nancy and Lissa to watch my purse. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA...I then realized what I said and went "Oh my gosh...I actually get to say it!!! HOLD MY PURSE WHILE I GO MEET GLENN!!!" ;)

I went over there and was standign in the line talking to that wonderful lady and her family, when I remembered that I had the "Tough Guys Wear Pink" sticker back in my purse. I *ran* back across the theater because it was just about time to get on backstage! I grabbed it and ran back, then put the sticker on my shirt...where it remains, I have plans for it and don't want to just stick it to something random in the meantime.

By the way, I was wearing the Infamous Pink Coat. ;) Pink brocade...the twin to the one my friend and I teased him about in my signature line, hahaha... A gray T-shirt (um....can I say this? oh heck...a very low-cut gray T-shirt), and jeans, and brown high-heeled sandals.

So we get let backstage, and I was just in total shock. I felt calm in a way, I wasn't hyperventilating, hahaha...but I also wasn't 100% collected either. ;) There was only a couple and then the family ahead of me... I watched him with the family, he was soooo sweet to the little kids and all... And he *introduced himself* to the lady who gave me the pass, LOL! She said her name and he said "Hi, I'm Glenn." Hahahahahaha! No, I had NO idea who you were. ;)

Sooo then....moment of truth...my turn. ;) The security guard stepped out of my way and there I was, face to face with The Man. And out of my mouth comes this ridiculously loud, accented, drawling "Hiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!" *dies* LOL!! He just went "Hi!" I said "Okay, I just have to tell you, this is for you...I bought this for you last summer because I saw it and it just reminded me of you so much, and I just had to get it in case I ever randomly had the chance to give it to you. You always wear pink and it's *awesome*, so...! That's yours." LOL...he was looking in my eyes the whole time and just smiling so sweetly, and he looked down then and read it and laughed and went "Well thank you!" And took it...

And then, he held his hand back out and said "I'm sorry, your name was..?" I said "Oh, I'm sorry, I guess that's the whole point right? My name's Bree." "Hi Bree, it is *so* nice to meet you." "Oh, the feeling's mutual, trust me." ;)

Then, he reached out his arm and said, and the stutters here are intentional... "Alright, so come on over here...c'mon over here and we'll, we'll...for our... This is our Kodak moment here..!" I was like "Awesome, of course!" And stepped over next to him... He put his arm lightly around my shoulders...and I decided you know, oh well...and put my arm around his waist very lightly and said "Is this alright, can I do this?" LOL. He turned to me and said "Of course!", hahahahaha...so I tightened my arm around him and he tightened his around me!!! I TOUCHED THE BODY OF THE HOLY GRAIL!!! Hahahaha! It was so awesome though...the moment where he looked in my eyes while he was beside me... I wish so much the photographer had screwed up and taken the photo at that moment, because we would've been standing against each other with our arms around each other and looking in each other's eyes....siiiiiiiiiigh. ;)

But yah...I should get the picture e-mailed to me Monday or Tuesday....oh my gosh. I need to see it so I know I wasn't dreaming. ;) As I walked away, he said "Alright, it was SO nice meeting you, Bree, and enjoy the show!" I said "Oh we will, and my friends and I will see you at Rama tomorrow night!" He went "Oh, alright!!"

And that concludes my meeting with Sugar. *dies of happiness* I just don't know what to say. I really, really don't. Lady Luck was with me for sure... I also won back all my money, AGAIN, for that leg of the trip anyhow (drinks, food, spending money) at a slot machine pre-show.

Ridin' with Lady Luck, indeed.

Thank you SO much Julie!!!! I still cannot believe it all happened....it's been many days, but I still can't believe it!! ;)

A couple more things I forgot: 1, Glenn was wearing an old beat-up yellow T-shirt with a blue logo which I forget what it was for on the front...and old blue jeans. Siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiigh--casual Sugar!!! ;)

2, when he held out his hand, I took it of course...but it wasn't a shake...it was just more of a squeeze. He just took it and held it--*tight*. ;) So tight, in fact, that the ring I was wearing had a pointy bit...which cut into my finger, I still have a scab! LOL!!! I don't mind, though. ;)

Oh my gosh...okay, I gotta go to bed, I'm exhausted....an hour of sleep wasn't enough! ;)

You wanted details, you got 'em! I also added in some tales of our misadventures. To get straight to the show, skip down to the middle section (I've bolded "Show itself")

Before

Our trip got off to an uncertain start when we left West Lafayette in the middle of a severe thunderstorm, although our excitement levels remained unaffected. Of course, we had to go back two times – once for the cell phone, once for the laptop. I’m starting to think that whenever I make a trip I should add an extra hour to cover the “Nancy Doubles Back to Get Stuff She Forgot” period. Anyway, after that, we were finally on our way. However, the rain was so bad that at one point we actually had to pull over to try to wait it out due to the wretched visibility. But hey, we made it, so all was well.

As we approached, we got more and more excited. Hitting Michigan started it, then hitting Mt. Pleasant, then of course hitting the casino and seeing that marquee as "Partytown" came on my little Road Trip iPod.... we were losing it. We parked the car in the parking lot and pretty much freaked out for five minutes, a kind of ear-splitting cacophony of shrieking and cheering that hopefully was contained by the car so as not to cause alarm to passing casino guests. What a feeling. We were really there, about to see Glenn Frey solo live. I never thought it would happen, it was the furthest thing from my mind... ok, I’ll stop that now. lol

I made us all walk to the marquee because I wanted to take a photo of it, and wound up getting a little video of it. We then tromped over to the casino itself. We were fairly early – about 3 hours in fact – and spent a bit of time walking around the casino, getting a couple drinks for the bar (and yes, I got a Tequila Sunrise. What can I say? I’m a dweeb). We went in as soon as the doors opened.

That was when Michelle and her family recognized me from London. They saw us as we were bouncing excitedly at the merchandise booth. “He’s selling T-shirts! Hats! We must get some! I can’t believe it!” etc. etc. The people at the counter certainly found our hyper excitement amusing. Oh the lameness lol. Michelle and her family had been directly behind me at the Wembley concert and I had talked to her then. “I thought so! You were the one that was trying to get everyone to stand up!” she laughed when I confirmed I was in London. One of her daughters was the girl catty-corner and behind me who I thought Glenn might have been pointing to and/or winking at. Small world, at least for Frey fans! We chatted for a bit, bought our shirts, and then headed down to the seats, which is when the whole VIP thing happened.

At that point Paige and her cute daughter came over to say hi. We talked for a bit as well. After she went to her seat, the sound guy called Lissa over and they talked for a bit as well. I got called over after several minutes. We begged to see the setlist. At first he wouldn’t show us, so we asked him “Is there anything from Strange Weather?” He looked embarrassed. “Don’t ask me what albums they’re on, but I do know that there are a couple he’s never done before.” Then he passed it over. We were so pleased with what we saw! Then Bree came back and it was time for the show.

The Show Itself

I have to say that these shows were just about everything I wished for. I wished he would do a song that was a rarity; he did. I wished that he would do songs he’d never done before; he did. I wished that he would play the keyboard more; he did. I wished that he would sing a song without the guitar; he did. I wished that he would sing YBTTC with minimal falsetto; he did. I wished he would do Smuggler’s Blues the rockin’ way and he did. IT WAS AWESOME. I could not have been more thrilled (well, maybe if he had played "River of Dreams"!)

The Michigan show had its share of hard cores (I guess because of the proximity to Detroit) and it had by far the most appreciative audience of the three shows. They gave him a standing ovation when he came out, and during the course of the concert, pockets of people would stand up to clap occasionally (hey, this is a casino, that’s about as good as it gets). Many times we heard people call out things like “Don’t forget ‘Strange Weather’!” “Do ‘River of Dreams’!” (that wasn’t me, but I agreed!) One guy even hilariously yelled out at a quiet moment, “ ‘LET’S GO HOME, GLENN!’” hehehe.

The first songs were soft and slow and wonderful: “Peaceful Easy Feeling” and “Lyin’ Eyes.” After “Peaceful Easy Feeling,” he said something to the effect of “We're not done yet, but I can see the train at the end of the tunnel... But you know, I have time to talk to all of you. And I don't get to wear these suits with the Eagles. Now wherever you all have come from... I know some of you have come a fair distance... thank you.” Bree shouted, “TORONTO, BABY!” lol Intro-ing “Lyin’ Eyes," he made his “Key of G” joke and dedicated it to Plaintiff – big surprise there!

As you may have guessed, our excitement at “Some Kind of Blue” was up in the stratosphere, especially when I saw he was moving over to the keyboard. Before he sat down, he joked, "Now, you know, I don't want to sound bitter. I'm a Happy Eagle... I’m on this new miracle drug they give to people who have teenagers. It’s called Dammitall.” lol “Anyway, this next song is one from my solo album Soul Searchin' which just tore up the charts...” He paused, grinning sardonically, then continued, “...and we haven't done it in a long time, but we thought we'd do it for you tonight." It was gorgeous. Since he was over to the side a bit to play the keyboard (we were second row, extreme right in the center section), we looked at the screen to see his face. He was really into it and we loved it.

He intro-ed “The One You Love” with “While I'm here at the piano I'll do another song from my solo career. This was from my first solo album and features Al Garth on sax... This is from when the Dead Sea was only sick." At that point, Bree said, “Hey, I'm not THAT old!" (She was born the year the song was written). Also, a guy behind me chuckled to his wife(?), “Musician and stand-up comedian!”The audience was very responsive to it.

We're not sure, but we think it was here he did his General Motors rant. I'm paraphrasing, but it went something like, "I'm not going to bash Bush tonight... why would I need to do that when General Motors is right here? You know, I heard that GM was only worth [some amount, sorry, I can't remember, but it was the millions] and they have no hybrids or anything. Toyota has hybirds and things like that and is worth [some amount that was in the billions, again, I can't remember precisely.] But why do they have to make hybrids look so bad? Put the body of a Camero on a hybird and THEN people would buy it. Why is is that if you want to be a conservationist you have to drive something that looks like it belongs to Mr. Peepers?" "Aw, we're all going to hell in a Honda anyway." That also got a big laugh - and as it so happened, we were making this road trip in my Honda. lol

After doing a nice version of "Tequila Sunrise," he got up and did the “new” song, which he stated the third night was written by a guy named Larry John McNally. He intro-ed it with, “This will be on the new album, or it should be.... We're not totally sure yet, we have about 7 or 8 songs in the can but we're not sure when it will be done and when it's coming out... Otherwise, I guess I'll just have to put it on... Glenn Frey, [I]Prelude to Obscurity." lol We loved how he did it without the guitar, just clutching his fists and singing at the mic. He sang it with such conviction that I can see why he chose it. I was glad that he turned to the right because it allowed us to get a great view of him as he sang this song. We sat in our chair oohing and aaahing, and stood up afterwards to applaud. As the audience clapped, he kind of chuckled and said modestly “Just words and a melody” and half-shrugged with a grin.

“No More Cloudy Days” was intro-ed with "This will also be on the Eagles album; we do have a studio version of this and it is also on the Farewell 1 DVD. This is dedicated to my daughter, Taylor." Before “Take It to the Limit,” he joked, "I mentioned my first wife, Plaintiff, earlier. My second wife calls this the credit card song." It was thrilling as always.

The next song he introduced with, "This is another new one... Hey. Anything after 1994 is new, baby! This was one I pulled out of my demo file. This is written by a fellow named Eddie Hinton, from Alabama [or someplace down south, we can’t remember exactly] “I just wanted to make sure you knew that I haven't just been resting on my laurels, you know, doing carpool and not much else.” That’s when he launched into “I’ll Come Running Back to You.” It was catchy and we enjoyed it a lot.

“You Belong the City” was next. I loved it. He did it in a very strong voice; only the bridge was falsetto. The audience ate it up. Of course Bree shrieked! Afterwards, Glenn said, “Okay, switching to Red Bull now....this seems to be the new senior rock drink. It's like speed with B vitamins." (Later he would do this with Gatorade). At this point, someone screams, "Where's the Jager?!" Glenn looked over towards them and said "Later.”

I was even more ecstatic when he introduced “Smuggler’s Blues” with something like “The past few years I’ve been playing this next song acoustically, but I’ve decided this time to go back to the Hell Freezes Over arrangement.” I knew exactly was he meant and was already whooping and clapping when I heard the opening riffs of "Smuggler’s Blues." Man, it rocked. Love it love it love it and so did everyone else. Too bad Lissa and Bree got told they had to sit down during it when they tried to get up and dance! Oh well.

When he intro’d “Who’s Been Sleeping in My Bed” he said that it was off of his solo collection. Then he turned around to face the band and joked, “All this stuff is out of print!” The audience enjoyed it a lot, swaying, which I thought was great since it’s likely most of them hadn’t heard it before.

“The Heat Is On” was his biggest solo crowd-pleaser. He intro-ed it with something like, “Cops dig me. Don't know why... I was very, very lucky to get this on the Beverly Hills Cop soundtrack - I don't know how that happened. I think I was the only white rocker guy on there - everybody else was monster rhythm and blues and then there was me.” More people than usual stood up to applaud that one. It blew folks away!

Then it was time for “Heartache Tonight,” an even bigger crowd pleaser. A cute moment: Scott raised his drumstick high in the air during the line “Some people like to stay out late.” lol Glenn said goodbye during the end of "Heartache Tonight" and before the song was even over, he was getting a standing ovation. Of course it wasn’t long before he came back. Lissa tells me he “adjusted” himself walking off the stage, although I missed it, as I did the last night at Casino Rama. I swear, I am getting off my game. lol

Once back, he said he wasn’t going to go on and off stage anymore because his knees couldn’t take it. Paraphrasing: “We're changing up the setlist a little tonight. I'm going to ask you all to sing these with me - you should know them - and then I'm gonna go sit down. You know, the legs just aren't working tonight. The voice works, but the legs...” Then he just shook his head and laughed.

When he started singing “Some Kind of Wonderful,” I was eager to sing along as instructed – too bad I had no idea what the lyrics are to it. I need to listen to Royal Oak more, obviously – or perhaps the original if I only knew who sang it! At least I was able to chime in on the title line in the chorus. He also did “I Hear You Knockin’” and, again, the crowd had a good time with it. And I DID know the lyrics to this one!

He closed with “Take It Easy” and, of course, “Desperado.” Again, I never thought I would see him do it live with my own eyes, loud and clear and powerful. It was magnificent. The crowd sang along and it was a great closer, after which he got another standing ovation. As our first time seeing Glenn solo, this concert will always be extra-special for us. I know I will never forget it. And that was only the first night!

[B]After the Show

Afterwards, a blonde lady came up to me and also asked me if I had been in London. Apparently I was more memorable than I first thought – at least to the audience members who had the misfortune of looking at my big butt as I danced in the front row.

We headed out to the lobby. I was hungry and decided we should get a bite to eat before trekking up to London, Ontario – a drive which took us five hours! We headed for the bar/restaurant. As we sat at one of the tables, we noticed the band members were also there. In fact, John Clark and Danny Grenier sat at the table next to us for a bit, although later some other band members came by and hauled them off to sit with them in the back. I just hope they didn’t overhear all of our gushing as we relived the concert, jotting down what we remembered so we could have the most detailed review possible. We even gushed about it to the waitress, who was very sweet and said we were “the most fun table of the night.” After chowing down on some Caesar salad, we were off.

The drive to London, Ontario (where our hotel was) was a NIGHTMARE after we hit Canada. We crossed at Sarnia, which had nothing, but I assumed there would be an exit soon where I could get gas. I was wrong, and to make it even worse, there was a dense fog that rendered visibility almost nil from that point on. I was white-knuckling it – there were no streetlights and, about 90% of the time, no other traffic as we went through the blackness. When our “low fuel” light came on with no exit or lights in sight, I choked down panic, especially since Bree said that most Canadian gas stations are not 24 hours. Thankfully, as we got down to alarming levels, we saw the lights of a gas station off the exit penetrating the fog, and we happily drove towards the light with as much relief as if it were the one beckoning us to Heaven.

Still, our trials were not over once we got back on the highway. At the point where we were supposed to change highways, due to the fog, we found ourselves unable to read signs while driving in the midst of construction with concrete barriers on either side of the lane. They were gray, and the fog was gray, and we weren’t even sure we were on the right highway after it split. It didn’t help that a big 18-wheeler truck sped out of the fog right behind us and almost hit us as I frantically tried to decide which fork to take, finally swerving to the left. Luckily Bree, our navigator, finally realized we were indeed on the right highway somehow (thank God!) and we got to London unhurt. Of course, the fog still covered everything, so we couldn’t read the street signs to get to our hotel! After another thirty minutes and a trip to a gas station to inquire, we wound up there, where we finally posted the review snippet that you've already read. We passed out, ready to rest up for the next day’s trip to Casino Rama!

I just wanted to ask what it was like when he walked to the mic without the guitar? It must have been very special. I don't think I would have survived. I also like the line 'the voice works but the legs don't'. The voice works, alright.

I do hope the song is on the album, although from what you've said it doesn't sound like an Eagles song, more a solo showcase. It would be very sad if it's not on the Eagles album and just disappears, because we know the Prelude To Obscurity thing is a joke.http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/ohwell.gif

P.S. - about it being a solo showcase rather than an "Eagles" type song due to the fact there isn't that "soaring harmony" - well - it's not as if all of their songs HAVE to be the same style. And look at Wasted Time. It's not unhead of, and he DID say it would be potentially on the new album. After all, he thinks it'd make a good Eagles song, and he should know. lol

Well, you never know about the song appearing on a solo album. Never say never!

As for seeing him walk up to the mic without a guitar - my mind was blown. It took me by surprise the first time at Mt Pleasant, because out of nowhere he started "I Love to Watch a Woman Dance" without any kind of instrumental intro, just suddenly turned to the mic and started singing. Having him sing such an intimate song without anything to hide behind really added to its power, it my opinion, especially since it allowed him to move his body a bit more, with expressive hand gestures - at times motioning like he was reaching out to the woman. I was lucky enough that he was facing our direction and it was even more affecting.

Since he had the guitar at "Desperado" the other two nights, when it was gone on Saturday at Rama, again my mind was blown. I immediately thought of you, Julie, and again it was "Our concert wishes all seem to be coming true!" He was able to grip the mic dramatically and do that two-fisted "LET SOMEBODY LOVE YOU" (he had actually done this over his guitar the first two nights. Maybe he finally figured out he didn't need it if he wasn't going to play it). It was so special. I'll never forget it.

On Friday she told me she didn't have it yet, but I haven't spoken to her since then. Hopefully we'll get to see it soon!

Taking over the computer in the middle of the afternoon 'cause my roomies are still asleep, I don't work 'til 4, and darn it, I haven't had more than 5 minutes on here at a time in more than a week!!!!

I did indeed get my photo!!! However, I'm paying dearly for all my adventures in that I don't have but $2.50 to last me 'til payday on Friday, LOL...so I can't scan it yet (I don't have a scanner, have to go to Kinko's). BUT, you can bet that on Friday on my way home, I'll be making a stop and uploading that puppy!!! It is so funny...I have a feeling Glenn was still a little baffled by how fast and how much I was TALKING, and he's just grinning...me, I'm clearly in a whole 'nother world.

There's also an 8x10 of Glenn from during the concert...SOOO lovely. ;) I'll scan that as well, it's absolutely one of my favorite photos of him now I think...you can clearly see how open his shirt was and that chain necklace that he was wearing!!! The pendant is unfortunately not visible, but still. Siiiiiiigh!

Aw crap, a roomie woke up. Next on the financial agenda for Bree: her own freakin' laptop and a wireless router. :)

Bree... how do you know the chain Glenn wears has a pendant if it wasn't visible? Did you see it when you met him?! http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/eek.gif

Firstly, Julie--I did see the pendant at certain times on the video screen, but that was all I could see and it definitely wasn't detailed enough! No fair!! :)

Secondly, my God, it's been so long I don't even know if I remember how to post!!!! HI Y'ALL!!! LOL I have missed you guys!!! As I said before I'm sharing the puter with my roomies...and even that hasn't been as much the problem as the fact that I've been working every single freakin' day, basically, since I came back from Atlantic City, or if I haven't been working then I've been otherwise insanely busy. Gah.

Anyhow...I know what y'all want...and believe me it's been bugging me...so without further adieu... The picture!!!

Terrible photo of me in my opinion...but siiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii iigh. Gotta love the ratty yellow T-shirt. ;) And that, my friends, is THE pink coat. And some cleavage, please forgive me. ;)

As well, this is the 8x10 that I also got with the photo, I guess it was sent around to all the VIP's (and those who know people who know people ;) ) who were back there that night...this was taken that night as well.

SWOON. Love it love it love it...haven't been able to afford frames for these as yet but you better believe I'm framing 'em soon!!! Feel free to re-post these on Eagleland if anyone wants to...and as well I'll stick the second one over in Frey Fever.

Hopefully, I will be around here MUCH more often now...my schedule seems to be slightly normalizing now that I'm officially full-time and don't have to pull 7-day weeks just to make 27 hours anymore..!

BREE!!!

I was only thinking about you just now.

That photo of you with Glenn is fabulous - you look great and Glenn, well, sigh, looks wonderful even in his old yellow t-shirt. He also looks genuinely happy.

The formal one is superb, but yours, well, that's the real man, the one I dream about meeting.

Thank you so much for posting them!!

Welcome to you Brooke. Lovely to have you here.

Oh Bree..... my heart just melted when I saw those first on Eagleland. What a wonderful experience. I just asked for a Chargers Tshirt. How weird is that?! http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/nerd.gif

First all of - welcome from me too Brooke. Hope you have a great time here.

And thanks for posting the pictures Bree - they are really awesome. You look like you're very happy to be there and Glenn looks so good in his raggy ole Chargers tee shirt. Since aquamarine would suit him well, I'm wondering if I should send him a Miami Dolphins tee shirt. http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/ohwell.gif

I think this goes toward my "casual Glenn" theory! I like the comparison Kate made, I also think the guy in the yellow T-shirt looks like "regular guy Glenn," and the guy in the silver suit is "Showman Glenn."
