People have been asking me about posting photos. I've posted some guidelines which will hopefully clear things up without any unnecessary drama.

Please ask any questions about it here, if you have them!

I'm just wondering - once I upload a photo to photobucket, is there a need to keep it saved on my computer?

I'm sure that's a no-brainer for someone, unfortunatly, I'm not that someone!:-(

No, not unless you want to keep it for other reasons (like backup copies). If all you wanted to do was post it, Photobucket will store it.

Thanks for your question - I'm sure other people will get confused about such things, too, and hopefully this will help.

All of a sudden I cannot post multiples photos from Photobucket. I pick the photos I want by clicking the box, go to the bottom of the page and click Generate HTTP and IMG Links, and it is no longer giving me the link codes. Can anyone help me?

I dont know much about photobucket, but if you right click on most pictures there is an option for copying the photo URL, then you can just paste that. It's usually the same thing.

Thanks Ticky. That works too (the proof is in Walsh Worship). I'm just used to doing it the other way.

Ok, I've tried to post a pic, to no avail. I paste the URL but all I get is this little blank square but no actual image. Does anyone know what I may be doing wrong? Thx (Does it matter that the URL starts with https instead of http?)

Are you using image tags before and after the URL? They look like this, without the spaces:

[ IMG ] http://wwwhateveryourpicis.jpg [ /IMG ]

Yes, those are automatically inserted, although I have tried to do it manually too. This is what the URL starts off as:

(I added the quotation marks)
Is there something wrong with the URL? Sorry for being so technically inept!

Dropbox doesn't allow you to directly share sometimes. I bet that's why. Try another site like photobucket and see if it works.
