Hey - I have a brother-in-law that is a sheet metal worker. Can he get me in? I can't open the .pdf file. I'm having problems with Acrobat on my pc that I can't figure out. http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/eek.gif

You can imagine how much that cost. Look, I have been going through my old diaries for some photos to scan. I found out how much the tickets for the LRB show were in 1988. They cost $62.90 for two tickets (I went with a workmate).http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/eek.gif I just thought I would mention it!

Wow, what would that be now, Julie?

I suppose Glenn has some empathy with sheet metal workers as his dad worked in manufacturing.

Ah, things have sure changed since 1988!

Those conventions always cost an arm and a leg for their attendees to go to. I guess the suits figure getting someone like Glenn Frey to play at their convention will entice folks to shell out hundreds of dollars for an otherwise boring series of seminars and hotel food.

I haven't the faintest idea what $31 is these days. But that seems an amazingly cheap price even for 1988.

it sure does! Seems prices have spiked in the last 20 years or so....

This is off topic, but I couldn't find where we originally talked about this:

I saw on FC that you found some info on Glenn's State Farm gig this fall, Nancy. Cool!

I never heard anything from my bil about it and hated to act like a lovesick schoolgirl and ask any more from him! He just wouldn't understand! http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/eyes.gif

Yes, just a smidgeon of info about the opening acts. Thanks for giving it a shot, Brooke. I understand why you wouldn't want to press the issue!

So many times in conversations I have wanted to gush out something Eagles or Glenn related, but have bitten my lip for the same reason!
