In other words, you hear again and again and make yet further. And so, the Eagles again on Friday evening in the indoor stadium to nine musicians on stage and their lawyers and accountants backstage support. It contributes guitar, a suit and tie.

Delights of the well sound

As expected, the weathered quartet from Los Angeles, what is career since before Almost forty years at best, which he also sold millions of records has introduced: it gives people exactly what they want to hear. Namely aerodynamically honed songs about durchgeföhnte Desperados, time lupene car rides, sad men and beautiful women, sun without end, and the vast land America in all its myths and stereotypes. This set takes the audience appreciated it and lift rocks with the band and their crew in the delights of well sound.

Classics like "The Long Run", "Witchy Woman," of course "Hotel California" or Don Henleys excellent solo piece "Dirty Laundry" alternate with excerpts from the last double album. The new tracks do not sound much different than the old ones, but are not from embarrassment. The cover version of "How Long", for example, where as the opening piece, closes easily to earlier successes at.

Music without abdominal

The Eagles play a music without abdomen, and their texts landing partly beyond the self-parody. But as the four Americans to perform the whole, remains untarnished: rich set of vocals, beautiful guitar solos played out, precise breaks, and the safe feeling with the songs to stop before the boredom of it all too similar deadline. Better can not be good.

The only flaw: Always then when bassist Timothy B. Schmit took over the Leadvocals, it became shallow all of a sudden, became conscious painfully, how close are art and kitsch together.
But with a total of three Schmit songs in three (!)-hour concert duration ithis point does not count and Schmit worked on the bass virtous and competently.

HEY!!! :enraged::censored::cuss::fingerwag:

Ouch! :hand: Shallow? :fight: How can I Can't Tell You Why be shallow? He sings it so well... and perfectly might I add. I'm wondering if by "shallow" he means mellow? (wishful thinking, I know) At least he liked his bass playing. :shrug:

I just finished watching the ICTYW video from Milan again... I think this dude needs to watch that... then talk about shallow. I want to say to him, "hey buddy, look at that crowd going wild... does that look shallow to you?" I don't know why his review bugs me, but it does!

Remember these translations are less than perfect. I mean what does 'languishing' mean regarding Glenn? I am afraid that unless these reviews are translated into correct English I am taking them all with a very large grain of salt. So Tim fans, I wouldn't worry about it.

It also says that Don played the guitar solo in the 'third last song'. Which song would that be? To my knowledge Don does not play any guitar solos during the Eagles' show -he plays rhythm guitar.. If the 'third last song' is Take It Easy Don plays drums then.

Edit: The 'third last song' before the encore is Funk#49. Perhaps they mean the previous song, Dirty Laundry, which Don sings, but even this... Don has never played a guitar solo in either of these songs.

LOL! I was thinking the same thing. Honestly, some people can't go without saying something negative.

correct, I try my best but it does not work always,
I think it is better if I the translations in the future no longer do, it's probably too many mistakes in my translations.

That was my mistake, it should mean Don plays the guitar solo in the last part of Boys of Summer themselves!

I think the guy who wrote the review don´t like Tims voice and for this reason he wrote this rubbish!

koala, you can count my vote as "please don't stop the translations" too. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say that most of us here are very appreciative and sensitive to the time and effort that some of you spend doing these. Even when they aren't perfect, the English is certainly very intelligible for the majority of us. Thanks again!!! :rockon: :applause:
