Was looking through some old articles and found this said about the Eagles two 1977 Washington shows: "Outside, before the show, scalpers were selling tickets for as much as $25, suggesting that these two concerts are the pop event of the year thus far and that the Eagles are rock's most popular all-American band."

Ah, those were the days!

LOL!

I'm wondering how much did you pay for an Eagles concert?

I would be interesting for saving all my money to go to the US next year for a concert (incl. a visit at my family) ;)

Nice av, EF. But you don't want to know what I paid in total for the five shows I saw in 2004. :D

For a top-level seat (not ILAA) you paid about $150.

Uuuuh, about $ 150? For the Hamburg show I paid 115 Euros and we had the most expensive seats.

Well, since 115 Euros is about the equivalent of $150 American dollars, that sounds about right.

Problem is that I was so dirt poor back then, I could never afford one of those tickets - not even the $10 ones.

$175??? When I go to the US next year I hope there will be a show in St. Louis and a bit cheaper. The flight will cost about 800 Euros, I'm bankrupt after that vacation to the US. http://www.ezboard.com/images/emoticons/eek.gif
