Yeah - I love both of those last two pics. The guys are definately :pimp: in that first one, even without Timmy.

As far as the second one, Timothy must have spotted Karen coming after him like a raging mad woman - he tossed the geetar, and is getting ready to run from (er, I mean for) her.

Do you know when I was a teenager I had a poster of the third shot, with intense Glenn, chest & moustache. I used to look at it all the time, and I thought Felder (who was my favourite) was Randy Meisner.

As for unfortunate fashion choices Glenn hasn't really made any. He did overdo the white suit during the 80s (although as I saw him wear it I can't complain). I get a bit bored with all the open shirts occasionally but at least he varies them.

Z, I hate those ugly plain shirts Don wears too. As I have posted frequently elsewhere, those plaid shirts look like they should be worn while cleaning out the garage, NOT while rocking out on stage!

One of my other DonHo friends and I have a acronym for them--UPS, for Ugly Plaid Shirt. When we were both travelling around seeing the Eagles last summer, we would email each other about the concerts and the first questions was--Did Don have on a UPS? Yes? Crap!

This is the poster I "borrowed" from the subway in 1980. I had it on my wall for years before I realized it was a photo of the Eagles. Now I've loved the Eagles music since 1973, but I really didn't know what they looked like, although I knew who Joe was (sans moustache). I didn't realize who this was until I saw Don's BOS video and realized that's the face I had been seeing on my wall for the past 6 years. I just thought this was a poster of five good-looking guys. Well, I wasn't too off, was I?

No, this one I got off of Bernie's website. It has a cute explanation about how Glenn wore the shirt with 14 on it because he wished he was still 14. Do you think he still feels that way now that he has 2 teenagers in the house?

That's so interesting! He wished he were still 14, of all ages? I don't know about you guys, but when I was 14, I was in one of my most "awkward" periods looks-wise, to put it mildly. I don't know, when you think about ages that are fun, you usually think 16, 17, 18... not 14. Maybe this is some kind of idealized age for Glenn, because when he was trying to compliment Clay Walker's looks recently, he said he looked so young he could pass for 14. Now at the time, I thought, "Who would WANT to pass for 14?" Perhaps for Glenn it was a "banner year." lol

When I was 14 I was about to become a fan of Australia's biggest pop band. The year of On The Border (1974) didn't mean much to me. I was strictly into Elton John and Paul McCartney back then apart from the other thing. I don't think I consciously remember hearing any Eagles songs until 1975, when I really became more interested in music (thanks to the pop band). Glenn was 14 in - when - 1962? I was 2 at the time. :sigh:

Felder, Henley, JD Souther and Randy were at one table. Glenn, Timothy, Joe and Bernie were at the other. I guess things really went down-hill after that........

I think it's one of the best photos of Glenn of all time - the 'In Charge' look. Don looks good too. I agree the other two don't look as good but I like the whole ambience of it and the similar ones taken in that session.

The 'highlights' are just a lighting effect. This is just a variation on the Rolling Stone cover. If I can offer an opinion, I think it's a dreadful photo. Felder's open shirt, and Don is so skinny.... Glenn looks OK, but it just doesn't work for me.

Definitely more interesting as you scroll down. Don looks good, though skinny, Joe looks good, Glenn, well he always looks good, but maybe this is between the long hair and the much more scrummy shorter haired Long Run look. Tim looks a bit uncharacteristically mean here. Great jeans.

I am not really a Dixie Chicks or country music fan, but the new song is REALLY good. I'm really glad our guys are supporting the "Chicks" because I strongly believe in free speech. Kate, Kath showed me that you can get images without watermarks by registering, even if you don't pay their fee. You won't have access to all the photos, but you'll have access to a great deal that way.
