I guess I should do the obligatory intro. ;)

Female, have lived most of my life in the Midwest (Minnesota, Dakotas, Iowa). Married, my husband and I have 2 kids (grown daughter who lives in KC and 15 year old son), horses, chickens, cows (somehow...I never really agreed to that one, but they're kind of cute) and a spoiled dingo doggie.

My music tastes are extremely varied - my iPod will go straight from Beethoven or Gershwin into Puddle of Mudd or Seether. A little country mixed in, with a side dish of Broadway (RENT, Wicked, Les Mis, Miss Saigon) and plenty of "classic rock" for seasoning.

I'm pretty much a concert junkie - if it's not the high end stuff (saw Billy/Elton earlier this year; Eagles, Bruce, Journey/Heart/Cheap Trick last year), it's the free jazz or blues that's offered locally. I think I've seen the Eagles 5 or 6 times....gets kind of fuzzy after a while, LOL. I keep saying the next time they come that I'm not going...have seen them enough, yet I know damn well that I'm going to be sitting on the Ticketmaster website at 10 a.m. on the day tickets are released, credit card in hand, poised to hit that SEND button. ;)

Outside of family and music, I'm a project director for a major company and pretty much like my job. I'm also a jewelry artist and do 15-20 art shows a year. So I keep pretty busy. :D

As I mentioned in the Journey thread, I've been lurking here for some time, and just signed up and started posting recently. Normally I'm not really this quiet, LOL. Looking forward to getting to know the folks around here better. :)

Well Lynn, Let me be the first to welcome you. We are glad to have you join us on The Border. As you know from lurking, many of us here like the Eagles and talk about them a lot. Glad you decided to post, and we hope you'll join in often.

Hey Lynn and welcome from the Pac NW. I've seen the Eagles once (as everyone here will tell you as they're all pretty sick of hearing LOL). I love all the guys, but Im a devoted Joe-girl.
I'd love to see some of your jewelery sometime!
Welcome to The Border, it is the absolute best place on the internet for Eagles junkies like us! Jump on in!

Welcome from me, too, Lynn! Glad you found us and are joining in. Don't be shy. We all love to give our opinions on all things Eagles! This is a wonderful place to learn everything you ever wanted to know about America's greatest band and maybe even some stuff you didn't want to know! Have fun!

LOL, thanks for the warm welcome!

Uh yeah on the learning. I was going through the Felder book thread the other day and my jaw kept hitting the floor. ;)

Hey, Lynn, glad you decided to get on board The Border....we have SOOOO much fun here. Greatest bunch of folks you'll find. And yes, we DO tend to be somewhat obsessive about THE EAGLES....but we're always open to other stuff. Again, welcome and enjoy.

Thanks guys.

If you didn't read in the "Reminiscing" thread, I have a *thing* for Don. ;)

But the guy I'd like to have a beer with and just shoot the $h!t? That would be a toss up between Joe and Glenn. Or maybe both. Wouldn't that be a hoot?

Welcome, welcome, from another Midwesterner - I'm from Illinois but horse showing forced lengthy treks through both Iowa and Minnesota (holy cold! wow!). I'm a hardcore country and Broadway fan, so commending your taste would be rather self-serving, but cheers regardless.

As for shooting with someone... you have to go with Joe! Imagine the stories he'd produce, both from memory and from his rear end! If you ever make that happen, please, I implore you to tell us about it...

LOL and thanks!

I don't think I mentioned it up front, but I actually grew up in Minnesota - The Cities ;).

Yes, it is colder than the proverbial you-know-what up there.
