Irish singer Stephen Gately was found dead in his Spanish residence this morning. He died in his sleep at the age of 33 having been out with his partner the evening before. Drugs do NOT seem to have been implicated.

Stephen had been a member of Irish boy band 'Boyzone' for the past 15 years since they were formed late in 1993. Boyzone had 6 #1s, had split up in 2000, but reformed in 2008 with a series of gigs.
Such a pity for a young man with such promise to go so suddenly.
'Love me for a Reason' is my favourite Boyzone song of all time.
