Hey thanks to all of you for the great birthday wishes and awesome photos! (I had actually forgotten about a few of those from Columbus!)

Birthday was great! I actually had my birthday wish come true..... some of you may remember I was reconnected last year with my son I gave up for adoption 30 years ago and he has two beautiful daughters now (my grandbabies!!) Although my two other kids (25 and 19) haven't been as overjoyed as I am - (I had told myself after they all met, I was going to stay out of it - and let THEM develop a relationship if they wantd to at their own pace). I told my husband what I wanted for my birthday was a photo of all three of my children together and another with me, them and my two grandbabies. I was unsure if it was going to come together, but with the help of my husband, the cooperation of all three kids, and the grace of God - I got my wish! I can't begin to tell you the joy it gave me to have all three of my children together. Everyone got along great and I was beside myself with emotion! I actually went to bed that night with a smile on my face - something I don't do very often - more often I go to bed with worries and/or tears. I feel very, very blessed - and can't wait now to get those photos developed and framed for all to see.

My husband and I just returned today from New Orleans where we went on December 30. We went to the Sugar Bowl to watch my daughters' college team (the University of Cincinnati Bearcats) play the Florida Gators. Unfortunatey, it was a painful game to watch.... they lost.... But, New Orleans was an awesome experience! the weather was fabulous, the food was delicious and the sights of Bourbon Street were - well.... interesting to say the least!!! :hilarious:

Thank you all again for your awesome birthday wishes!!! I promise to stay in touch more often!! (BTW - when are the boys coming back this way!!!???)
