This makes me feel more and more that these parks should be closed...

I saw this in the news. Tragic! But parks allow people ways to see animals they never would otherwise.

I think its horrible when aquatic trainers are injured or killed by animals they work near or with. It's dangerous to be near the aqua decks.

I'm torn on this subject. I find myself leaning towards wanting these kinds of parks and all kinds of animal acts stopped, but I understand Soda's point too.

I have been to Sea World and enjoyed seeing these beautiful animals perform. I will never have the chance to see them in the wild so that was as close as I will ever get. It is so tragic and I feel bad for the womans family. I am glad that they said they were not going to destroy the whale but they do need to make sure he doesn't harm anyone else.

What a very sad, tragic situation. However, I think they are right not to destroy the whale. I read somewhere that the trainer loved those whales so much, and she herself wouldn't want him destroyed.
