Pretty nice review of the guys! Sounds like they were all in good form last night. I like the fact they can make the best of an ill weather situation... and it gave Glenn a new joke! =)

Of course, I couldn't read about the chicks past the point of "barefoot maines"... UGH! She just annoys... Although, I'm laughing that ladies threw brassieres at Keith. I bet Keith puts on a good show. Too bad their isn't much about him in the reviews... and last show, he wasn't even mentioned if I recall.

A few vids on Youtube already. They were shot pretty far back and the sound kind of sucks but here they are anyway.

What a beautiful photo above and much more positive reviews. I am glad someone shares my view that Don is most impressive when singing and playing drums.

Good job as usual Koala! Love the 7BR/How Long one. Can't get enough of seeing them do 7BR!

It's probably best that I'm not going Saturday night. I'd make a fool of myself as soon as they started singing 7BR by breaking down and sobbing uncontrollably from seeing it done live!! AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!

What little straying from the script they did worked well, including a dramatic trumpet solo leading into “Hotel California’’ and a hearty-voiced Henley letting loose with spirited vocal ad libs at the close of “The Long Run.’’

Improv to newbies maybe, but not to us!

Hey, did anybody else notice they're now doing the shorter version of SBR? That's a bit disappointing, although certainly better than dropping it altogether.

Oh no! I hope they don't shorten the set list any more. I really want to hear 7BR, too.

I noticed SBR being shortened in all of the recent youtube videos but for some reason (if i remember correctly) I'm thinking that they did the full version of it in San Jose. Does anyone else that attended those two shows remember?

As far as I can recall I heard the full version of it at every show I was at this spring...

Yeah, I'm sure they did the full version in San Jose.

They probably figured since people start hollering and clapping when they think the song has ended (casual fans not knowing the song that well), they might as well stop and move on to the next song and save time. :-(

Yes, the reason I noted it is because it wasn't shortened in San Jose. I'm very grateful for that, as I love to hear it in its entirety. Still, as I said, better they shorten it than drop it.

Amen to that! It is very impressive to hear them sing that song.

Eagles leave no one’s spirits dampened

FOXBOROUGH— “Who likes country rock in New England,’’ asked Keith Urban Saturday night at Gillette Stadium

That used to be Glenn's line. :eyebrow:

I don't think Seven Bridges Road should be shortened just because people start to cheer.

Hi - I took a few short videos at the Gillette Stadium show. I was close to the front, but off to the side so I just shot the giant screen which was in front of me!

Welcome Dave. How often have I wished that people would just record the screens if they can't get a good view of the stage. Thanks so much! Any other thoughts about the show?

BTW, very nice review Koala.

Thank you Dave!!!!!

First and foremost about this review S-C-H-M-I-T! Why is that so hard?

Love the fact that Keith is so great to his fans, even the ones on the 50 yard line by going down there and playing for them.

Even the reviewer thinks it's surprising that Walsh actually does 5 tunes.

Wow...you guys are all nice, I feel very welcomed here! No problem about the videos...actually they are the first ones I've ever put on Youtube, I wasn't really planning on it, but they came out pretty good and the sound was decent too so I put them up and I thought you guys would appreciate them...which it seems you do :) Yes, I did enjoy the show...it was awesome!! The sound was amazing, could hear all those incredible vocal harmonies. Henley's voice was probably the highlight for me...he is my favorite. I've seen him on his solo tours twice which were awesome but this definitely took it to another level! It was cool to see Joe Walsh's stuff featured so heavily...it was really great to hear In The City! Overall an awesome show and I wasn't too bothered by the rain actually.

Now there you go. That review said that Glenn used the 'who likes country rock' line. I thought the Keith Urban attribution was suspect.

To describe Desperado as a 'four part harmony version' when it is dominated by Henley with a few 'oohs' from the others seems soemthing of an exaggeration.
