Henley is scheduled to appear at the Clinton Global Citizens Award's ceremony tomorrow night (9/23/2010) in the Metropolitan Ballroom of the New York Sheraton where according to the Clinton Global Initiative website: "President Clinton will recognize extraordinary individuals who have demonstrated visionary leadership in solving pressing global challenges. Award recipients will be leaders whose efforts transcend borders, change lives, and set an example for us all."

Ben Stiller will be the master of ceremonies and Selma Hayek will be one of the presenters with some help from one of my favorites, Maria Bartiromo.

The ceremony is scheduled to run from 8:00 p.m. (EST) to 10:00 p.m. with dinner and desert to follow. The website has a live broadcast link which is broadcasting most of the day-time conference's four day activites. Don't know if tomorrow night's ceremony will be broadcast (It's currently not on the schedule.) but here is the link just in case we get lucky:

Oh, to be a fly on that wall. Henley's becoming quite a mover and a shaker :partytime:I must say.

Gah! The stubble! :faint:

Thanks so much, CL.

I like the stubble myself. Hope he keeps it for the October shows!

On a more serious note, what an honor for Don.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the stubble. He wears it very well. So glad we got to see him with it in San Jose.

Sometimes I like it and sometimes I don't. I don't here. I think he's died his hair again. I like the gray stubble with gray hair better.

But really, his hair doesn't matter much. I love him anyway

When I saw him at FS his hair in person didn't look as red as it did in the photo that I took. I'm wandering if the lighting has something to do with making it look so red. In any event I say, shave the stubble. Makes him look old.

One of the captions from those pics says
"Don Henley (http://www.daylife.com/topic/Don_Henley), formerly of the Eagles" do they know something we don't! :???:

Ive always been a dreamer

Yeah - tg, it always amazes me when uninformed writers declare Don, Glenn, Joe, or Tim as former Eagles. Last I heard, the four of them are still kicking butt together for arena shows that have some pretty good attendance figures. But, guess that doesn't count.

But, the important issue here seems to be Don's stubble. It is of so much interest that we have discussion going in two different threads. As I said in the other one, I'm with those who think that that grey stubble tends to age most men, including our dear Don.

I think Don is one of those men who wears stubble really, really well. It's rugged and sexy (to me). But I agree with Brooke that I prefer it with grey hair. His look in San Jose was perfect. :inlove: I'm not a huge fan of his hair in the above pics.
