RIP Pete Postlethwaite

The British actor, Pete Postlethwaite, has died at the age of 64 after a long battle with cancer. He was a great actor, and I really admire his values - his aversion to fame and celebrity, and his activism, particularly with regard to climate change. He will be missed.

I was the same. :rolleyes: My DH knew who he was and took great trouble trying to help me to know him, but after all his efforts I was still clueless. Until I saw his picture on the news. Shame to lose such a good actor.

Great Actor indeed His work in this Daniel Day Lewis film comes to my mind (In the name of the Father I believe that was). RIP.
