Yep - he sure is gone too soon. I always loved Thank You for Being a Friend. This is very sad and my heart goes out to his loved ones.

R.I.P. Andrew

I didn't recognize the name right off but after following Troub's link, I realized I have heard his music after all. RIP - nowadays, 59 is definitely too young.

Very sad. I loved the song Lonely Boy when it first came out and I checked my Itunes to make sure I did have it downloaded. I do. Very good song. RIP Andrew!

They played that as a tribute to him on the radio breakfast show this morning and mentioned also about his work with Wax where he teamed up with Graham Gouldman (ex 10CC) I'd forgotten all about him doing that.

I also liked this one of his.

My my.. and they keep falling... Fogelberg, Rafferty, now A. Gold. Great 70s' material, Eagles related. I think he worked with S. Nicks? This is bad.

Yeah, I'd be familiar with Andrew Gold's work as well. Again, far too young to die. :-( RIP
