Who is Candye Kane, you might ask? I have no idea. But when I checked my Google alerts today, I found this:

Candye Kane - Sister Vagabond: Music Review (http://blogcritics.org/music/article/music-review-candye-kane-sister-vagabond/)

The article, which is about her upcoming album, states this about one of the tracks:

“Everybody’s Gonna Love Somebody Tonight” is a Jack Tempchin/Glenn Frey composition, and the use of a harmonica on this one underpins its transition to a blues song.

I went to Jack Tempchin's Facebook page and saw a post about it, so I replied asking for more info. Hopefully we'll get some!

You can listen to a clip from the song here:

Update: no reply yet, but I went to the US Government's online copyright database to see when it was written and found nothing listed for Glenn Frey or Jack Tempchin under that title! Very, very odd!

Hi - Im candye kane. To answer your questions about who I am, I am an internationally touring blues singer/songwriter who has been nominated for five national blues awards by the national blues foundation. I have won best blues band 12 times in san diego. I am a good friend of Jack Tempchins and have recorded one of his songs on almost every one of my 11 cds. My newest cd sister vagabond, features a song Jack and Glenn wrote together called "Everybody's Gonna Love somebody Tonight." The cd will be available in stores on on Itunes on August 16th on the Delta Groove Record Label.

Thanks for joining and telling us more about yourself, Candye. I meant no disrespect with my uninformed comment. You obviously have a lot of talent. I like what I'm hearing and plan on buying the album myself.

Candye, how did you pick out that particular song? I'm curious as to how the process works. Do you know if it was something Frey and Tempchin worked on recently or something older?

It would seem that her cancer has returned. Not good news.
