Just got back after a long walk in the park with a friend. We had a coffee and a chat afterwards, which was lovely. It's breezy and overcast today but it was so good to get a real dose of fresh air. We saw a deer just a few feet from us eating the grass, too...

Now I'm going to put on a movie or some music while I make sure my Professional Development Portfolio is ready for tomorrow's signing off session at uni.

As HB knows, I feel her pain! The culprits in my case were KLM and Air France.

Troub, "The Fall" stars one of my celebrity crushes, Jamie Dornan, so I'm thinking of watching it. The only problem is The subject matter is so disturbing. You'll have to post what you think.

I investigated whether I could restore the previous library settings but as it was only installed on this computer yesterday, I couldn't. So while I am on the net, I am patiently going through all the duplicate files in the entire plus 8000 library. I'm doing it by artist order & am halfway through the Beatles. I post something, then I delete another album's worth. :censored: It's my own fault although I still don't actually know what I did wrong yesterday.

The British normally don't use surnames as first names, especially when it comes to royalty and even more especially when the boy will be king one day. You can say that he can change his name, but 'Prince Spencer''? I don't think so.

Someone mentioned James but it would revive memories of the Old Pretender; some Scots probably still resent the fact that there was no James III.

I will only take it if I really like it and feel a good vibe from the other housemates... but the beauty of renting is that I'm not tied there for too long. Rooms are always available in London. This one looks really nice, though!

I so wish I could join you for an adult beverage on the deck. I've just returned home after an evening out with friends. I had a fruit sorbet sundae at a dessert diner... so delicious!

Tidying the house before heading out to do grocery shopping.

HOW do you motivate 12 year olds to help you tidy..... Mine leaves a trail of detritus behind her.......

I'm about to make myself a veggie pasta for lunch. I will probably head out at some point today, but I really need to make a start on packing for my holiday. Need to have it done before I head home on Friday!

I have no idea GA, but I got a giggle out of this.

Where are you going on holiday, Troub? I've forgotten.

I am relaxing with a cup of tea before getting ready for work.

I'm going to Rhodes (one of the Greek islands) with my mum and sister for two weeks. We leave very early on July 31st.

Oh, it sounds so restful. Just what you need before you start your job. I can understand why you'd like to have something rented before then.

Ok, I'm back and slightly frustrated. Today of all days, US Cellular was unable to do anything for me because they were transferring everything over to another database or something like that! All I could do was look at the phones available. Things like this only happen to me! 40 miles and a trip wasted! :censored: :brickwall:
