I hope everyone has a wonderful day! As a Christian, I find this to be the most special day of the year. I love Easter bunnies and Easter eggs; they are fun and remind us of the joy of rebirth that comes with the season. However, what makes it special for me is knowing that Jesus died for my sins and rose again so that I could have eternal life in Heaven.

Just got in from Easter service, got to see all the folks I grew up with. It was a beautiful service. Now starting on Easter dinner, which with my family is always huge. If I start now, dinner might be done by 4pm!

I hope everybody had a wonderful Easter or Passover. I watched out of my window this afternoon as my next-door-neighbors had their grandchildren hunt for easter eggs in their back yard. It was so adorable to watch them in their Easter clothes, running around with their baskets, looking for eggs. It looked like something out of a movie.

Same here!

We had a very busy weekend. We had an 80th birthday party/Easter celebration Saturday evening for my mom with my family and then to church Sunday morning for sunrise service, breakfast, Sunday School, and worship service. We didn't do much in the afternoon which was actually very nice.
