Happy birthday from me, too! Even Glenn's dressed up for ya - but he's rumpled - who did that? ;)

Thanks, for all of the good wishes and great photos, guys!

My day was quiet, spent just with Steve and the boys. (My girlfriends took me out Thursday night-but we must be getting old since it that was a pretty uneventful evening, as well) My gift to myself yesterday was a day off of work!

At one point yesterday, a florist van pulled into my yard and I thought "oooh, wonderful, flowers!" The gentleman came to the door and asked how to find Suzy, my next door neighbor. LOL!!

Tom redeemed my men a few hours later by walking in with a bouquet of flowers for Mom as well as some gift cards and the book "Ishmael" that he's been pestering me to read for some time now. Along with all that, by the time he left, he managed to give his old mom 4 hugs, which for me, was the best part! I'm so glad my grown young man doesn't think it's not cool to give his mother a hug now and then.

Steve had a quick business trip to Cleveland this past week, so he surprised me with a t-shirt from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame that has the Eagles, of course, listed in al the inductees. He also got me the book "To the Limit" thinking that he had found something for me that I didn't already have. (Silly man!) It has been "updated by the author" in 2005 -so techincally, it is different than the first copy I have. He also got me an IHome so I can play my IPod like a boombox.

Peter, my poor college student, aplogized for missing my birthday the day before (he had the days screwed up), and then proceded to give me an IOU. Oh wait, he did bring all of his dirty laundry and a huge appetite home-so I guess that's something!

Again, thanks for adding to my day!

Glad you had a good birthday, Molly!

My hubby did the same thing--bought me the updated copy of To The Limit. (At least they tried, right? ) The main difference in the two books is the last chapter, where Marc writes about his encounter with Don after the book was published.

So sorry I missed your birthday, Molly... It was a Public Holiday in South Africa on Friday, so I didn't have any Board access!

Will it help if I sing to you? I have no pretensions to being as good as Glenn Frey , but a girl can try, though  Here goes:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU
HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR MO-O-O-LLEEEEE
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOOOOO YOOOOOU!!! :guitar:

I'm glad you had such a great day. I've only just found out about the book, "To The Limit", in an article published in "Guitar World Acoustic" magazine, which I bought. The book's not available here, though, although I can try to order it... :D

Thanks for the seranade, Mrs. F. And thanks again, everyone, for the b-day wishes!

What a coincidence, I've often told my husband he should think of and treat April 27th as a holiday! That goes along with our wedding anniversary, or as I like to call it, the anniversary of the day my husband became the luckiest man alive!

I love that, Molly!
Our 20th anniversary is coming up--May 23rd--so I will have to remember that line to tell MY hubby!

Speaking of anniversaries, I just read a news blurb about all the celebrities who got married in the month of May, and Don and Sharon's wedding anniversary is May 20, three days before ours--except our wedding was in 1987 and theirs was in 1995.
