Today this forum is called "Cheap Talk and Margaritas"...Happy Cinco de Mayo everyone...does anyone really know what this holiday is about? I think it's actually a Mexican day, but don't know what it celebrates...:hmm:...anyway it's a good day to have a margarita!

Here is the Wikipedia link for Cinca de Mayo. It is a Mexican celebration as you thought, but is celebrated by some in the US as well. It's also my wedding anniversary!

Having had the pleasure of meeting Harold I can wish you both a very happy anniversary!

(May 5 is also the birthday of one of my heroes, Michael Palin of Monty Python fame).
