We had a quiet Christmas. Most of our celebrations have been deferred until tomorrow when my younger sister arrives with her family. Then it'll really be a crowd, with both my sisters, their husbands and kids, and me all under Mom and Dad's roof!

Some drama occurred when a high- wind storm took out the power for an hour and my nephews freaked out, but once that was back on track things went smoothly.

Dad keeps wanting to play with the grand kids and do way too much, but he's doing better. The only problem is that he seems to be allergic to the pain meds, so he's having to decide which is worse: enduring the pain or enduring the itching. Right now he's leaning towards the pain. We'll try to get different meds tomorrow.

Hope everybody here had a wonderful Christmas too. We just had the 4 of us here yesterday, but we were kept very busy between helping the kids play with their Santa presents, Mass, I cooked a full turkey and ham dinner then we watched movies later! I'm exhausted today! Lol. But it was all good.

Today we go to my parents and family in my parents house for lunch and hubby's brother and family for the evening.

Soda! I'm so glad your Dad seems better. Grandkids always seem to cheer our Dads up! What meds is he on at the moment? I hope he gets something that agrees better with him.

Sorry I wasn't on here before Christmas to say it, but I'll say it now!

I had a good Christmas... It was fairly low key for the most part. We have our "Christmas Day" on Christmas Eve, so I had all of my gifts opened before midnight!! :laugh2:

Now I just have to wait til February when I go back to Florida. Before that I go see an ophthalmologist about some eye muscle surgery and will see when that happens if it does.

That's all the news on this front!

I know this is very late, but as I said in another thread, I haven't been able to be on the board much during the holidays. I hope all of my fellow Borderers, as well as all of the band members and the extended Eagles family, had a very Merry Christmas!
