I am a big Eagles fan but not a big fan of Joe Walsh. I was listening to the Simon and Simon theme song intro and looked it up. It was a TV show from the 80's. A regular user on imdb wrote:

"with it's Joe Walsh-inspired slide guitar theme"

Not being all that familiar with Joe's work, it sounds like could be him. Anyone know if Joe Walsh did play on the theme song? All of my net searches have turned up nothing beyond that 1 user post on imdb.

Here's a link to the Simon and Simon theme song on Youtube:

I don't know it but surely the key word is 'inspired' which does not mean that Joe played on the tune. It means it is a tribute to his style. Having watched it now, I very much doubt that he had anything to do with it.

I always loved that theme song and I liked the show when i was younger, but now when I watch it, it's sooo bad! Love Gerald McRaney, though.

Welcome! That brings back some memories!

I don't think Joe played on that, although I suppose one can't say definitively one way or the other without asking someone who was involved.
