I can't help thinking they could have chosen a more appropriate picture!

Yeah - Nothing like putting a photo from The Long Run era on the Desperado album. At least they could have selected a pic where the lineup for the band was correct.

Marco, sorry not to reply sooner. This appears to be a dvd analysing the Desperado album; certainly not a live concert. The fact that the producers have put a photo from the Long Run on the front is discouraging. Never the less, I have bought it from HMV on a special offer, and will post a review asap.

Kate, You talk about the DVD desperado, that have a photo of the Long Run on front, What You tell me of that? On the EP of Take It To The Limit They put a photo of The Long Run Tour, with Timothy that was singing Keep On Tryin'

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think that when Timothy joined the Eagles his solo vocal song "Keep on Tryin" was one he wrote whilst in Poco - don't forget he joined the Eagles circa 1977 before the Long Run and ICTYW.

Marco, how do you know they are singing Keep On Tryin' in that photo? The fact that Tim is in the centre suggests they could be doing it. They did play the song on that tour. I agree that photo is not entirely appropriate, because the Eagles Live version of TITTL is sung by Randy, and yet I guess they wanted to use a generic shot of the current line up.
