Hi,
I am a long time Eagles fan. I learned to play guitar listening to their first two records, and fortunately had a pretty accurate lyric and chord book to help me. What didnt help was that for some dumb reason (probably Roger McGuin) I had a 12 string Yamaha guitar to learn on. Made some of those chord shapes challenging!
More recently, haven watched the new "History of the Eagles" and buyig the remastered "Studio Albums" set, I've really been enjoying the music again.
I played professionally for a while when I was in college years, again 20 years later in a blues band, an now its a hobby where I record stuff in my home studio. I tackled "After the Thrill is Gone" last week. Cane out pretty good instrumentally, but man those vocals are so good and so tough. I'm still working those to final takes!
Thnaks for reading!
