I know we have a thread for our Eagles memorabilia but I don't think we have one for some of the other music we might collect items for.

We are getting ready to switch 4 of our rooms from one room to another and we are planning on using some of our rock memorabilia throughout the house. We are tired of it all just sitting in boxes where no one can enjoy it. So it gave me the idea for this thread.

I'll start with my newest addition that I am sooooo very excited about. As many of you know, I love Styx. They performed in one of the local casinos again a couple months ago. I didn't go this time because I couldn't get a good seat and since I've seen them several times, the latest being less than a year ago, I opted out this time. A friend of mine works at said casino and was able to meet them and told them she had to have a pic signed for her friend who was quite the fangirl. :hilarious: This is what she delivered to me last night.

Signed by all 6 members!!! She is awesome and I now owe her BIG TIME!!!!

That's awesome!

Here's two of my favorite pieces:

Autographed when I met him in April.

And I don't have a pic of my exact print but I have a copy of this autographed and personalized by John Entwistle. He was doing a gallery exhibit in Philadelphia years ago and my dad took me to meet him and get the print as a birthday gift.

Great thread Willie and I love the memorabilia shown so far. Apart from my Eagled stuff all I have is a t- shirt and a 45rpm single signed by Chris de Burgh and a vinyl record with the signatures of one of my favourite Irish Trad bands (Stocktons Wing). I had brought the album to a gig they were doing in 1986 and hoped to get maybe 1 or 2 sings, ran into a DJ friend of mine at the time. He took the vinyl backstage for me and the rest is history! Will try to post it but the sigs are a little faded now.

Brilliant idea to display your memorabilia too Willie. Show it off and be proud of it.

Great stuff everyone! Fun thread.

I'm not sure how to post a picture from my phone, but my prize rock and roll possession is a signed, personalized copy of Time magazine from 1975 when Bruce Springsteen was on the cover of Time and Newsweek in the same week. He signed it for me when I finally got to meet him in 2000. It's one of those "things I'd grab if there were a fire in my home" items :-)

Silly me, when I was cleaning out the spare bedroom this weekend getting ready to paint, I packed all my stuff in a box. Still have some odds and ends in the other bedroom I will try to remember to take some pictures of and post.

But I guess I can put this here, even tho I just posted a few pictures in the Every Picture thread. A friend of mine who makes jewelry, sent me a Memorial Bracelet of Benjamin Orr. Here's one of the pictures of it.

http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e136/williehoo/Benjamin%20Orr/Benbracelet3_zps6fc1227b.jpg

She's made me a Benjamin necklace that I believe I've posted a pic of in the Cars thread, a Zeppelin necklace and I had a Guns N Roses one made for our Liz last year when she was going through her health ordeals. She does wonderful work.

Nice stuff guys! Love it! hang them on the wall.
I have my Beatles stuff on the wall.
I have a photo of the Beatles in the Cavern Club, along with a piece of the club when they knocked it down & signed by Pete Best who is on the drums in this photo. I think it is from 1962...They are soooo young in the picture. They look like babies.
I have to take a picture of it, but I'm too lazy to do it right now!:headbang:

It's ironic. We have the three Black Country Communion albums because Mike's other hero Glenn Hughes plays bass in that band (Jason Bonham played drums; they have basically split up now. Ironically we don't have any of Joe's own albums but we have the BCC Europe DVD & these:

Very cool FP!!

I took a few pics of some more stuff I uncovered over the weekend. I've realized I have this stuff scattered and am glad I'm finally starting to get it somewhat organized. These pics are only parts of some of the collections I have.

This is some of my Benjamin Orr stuff--includes a special shirt that one of my Benjamin FB groups had made last year, bumper sticker, pin, window cling, unopened solo LP, a couple 45s, a RS mag.
http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e136/williehoo/Mem1_zpse324a497.jpg

My brother started this collection this past Christmas for me. Says he wanted to buy me some rock memorabilia but didn't know what I had so figured he'd start me a whole new collection and I'm not suppose to add to it because from now on it's to be stocking stuffers from him. :hilarious: Backstage laminate passes. He's no dummy--he started me off with a couple Eagles, a Cars and a Ratt pass.
http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e136/williehoo/Mem4_zpsbc04c692.jpg

Don't judge me----- My personally autographed pic of Wayne Newton I've had since the first time I saw him in the late 70s, I was in my teens. And a picture from a concert he played at Notre Dame in the early 80s I went to. He came out on stage in a ND jacket.
http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e136/williehoo/Mem2_zps53d5c6e8.jpg

This is just misc. handbills, bookmarks, keychains, trading cards, etc.... of various artist I happen to pick up.
http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e136/williehoo/Mem3_zps3016fd8d.jpg

One of my most prized possessions-- This is a painting a friend did for me of Jimmy Page for my birthday last year. I LOVE it!
http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e136/williehoo/Mem6_zps363ff45e.jpg

A couple pictures I took from one of my Styx concerts along with the ticket stub and a Tommy pick I got.
http://i38.photobucket.com/albums/e136/williehoo/Mem5_zpsb575213c.jpg

Stuff that I've been sent from a friend of Andy Scott, the current and original guitarist for Sweet. The hat he autographed to me, the cd is autographed to me from all the current members of his version of Sweet, and the sticker is one of 2 that he sent, the other is signed and framed along with a pick he sent. The huge book in the top right is a rare copy and worth a couple hundred dollars now and the mag in the lower right is a mag that a member of one of the Sweet fangroups started.

well I had to stop and think ...
I have an "along the red ledge " lp by hall and oates that was signed by both of them and fab pictures too although I suspect DH was hung over casue he wouldnt take off his sunglasses in the middle of the day in the middle of the store.lol:hilarious:

i have guitar pics from hall (live from daryls house) and oates and one by timothy b schmidt who threw it at me at a lroe concert in Atlantic city.

Also have a commenritive "centerfield 25th anniversay " baseball signed by John Foggerty.

I have a promomtional copy of Born to run with a white lable given to me by a DJ in the Philly area Market who got it to me prior to it being released. That gentelman is deceased so the Lp is very sentemental to me.

autographed ( xmas ball, ticket stub, back stage laminate etc)but no picture cause he wouldnt let anyone take any (and you think that DH was bad)

ANd the late great HArry Chapin, had my picture taken with him and have a signed program and his poetry book and its signed too.
He was a great musician, I saw him for the last time in april and he died in june.,,,,always a great concert to see him perform.

Met eddie Money and had my picture taken with him at a record store opening but I seldom share it cause I got a bad perm that day and I already have curly hair so nows the time for your worst imagin picture to pop in your head,,,,and it was 10 x's worse lol:hilarious::hilarious::hilarious:
oh well all i can think of for now.

Fabulous collection TT!

I used to love dancing to H & O at clubs. And as a baseball fanatic, I love the John Fogerty "Centerfield" baseball. What a treasure!!

I have several signed baseballs including one by Glenn & one by Joe. The rest are ballplayers. My most prized signed baseball is the 1997 Astros team. All the players signed it after winning the division. The Astros manager at the time lives in our little city of Jersey Village.

Fantastic. It's as close as I'll probably get to having a private concert with someone. The venue only seats about 500 and he was maybe 12 feet away right in front of me. It was him, one other guitarist, a keyboardist and a backup singer/percussionist. No drums, no bass, barely any electric guitar.

This is one of my better pics:

Sadly no. I got the pick from a roadie and the autographs were him signing from the car he was leaving in. I just got a hello and thank you and that was it. The rest of the band was signing/socializing in the lobby after the show but I didn't go for them ;)

He played it last night! It never gets played at Moodies shows so it was a real treat.

We always joke he's got a portrait of Dorian Gray stashed somewhere...

I saw the Moody Blues twice in the 80s & they did great shows.
