We were talking about Borderers being at every show... well, here's one that I think we missed!

Check out some reviews and photos:

Soda:

I think Springbo was there? I remember that because of the CT connection. It's so impressive that the Border has been represented at every show so far, even the Salmon Festival!

Thanks for finding the reviews! I hadn't seen anything yet.

What I think is cool is that some folks weren't Border members until after they went to a show, or right before they saw a show. I think the DVD has really fanned the Eagle's flame!

The second review says Glenn played piano on NKIT (as well as ICTYW). They know who he is; how could they make a mistake like that? NB Don fans: he is wearing the dark grey shirt I mentioned elsewhere, not the pale grey one. They also say the new version of HT is 'subdued' after Glenn had already sung several ballads. Well, he does do Already Gone again now.

I just want to go on utterly useless record and say how enamored I am of a town called "Uncasville." Very "Last of the Mohicans"-y.

Don the English Major would have appreciated that last tangent ;)

Just wanted to post this!

So my husband and I went to dinner on New Years Eve. I asked him what he thought the highlight of 2013 was for him and without hesitation he said the Eagles concert! We loved this show!

I agreed and what was hilarious about this was, we bought VIP tix and when we were escorted over to the souvenir area before the show, we were standing close to a man that my husband said was Joe Walsh. I promptly said " that is not Joe, you must be smoking crack!" and I laughed. So we get to our seats and I look up when Joe appears on stage and I said to my husband "Okay, you were right, that was Joe" My husband said " You were standing not even two feet away from him earlier" I could not believe it.
I cant tell you how many times my husband has reminded me that I was so close to Joe that night! Its become his favorite thing to tease me about!
By the way Joe really looked good close up!

All the VIP dinners I've been to, I've never seen an Eagle show up to one! Of course, I don't look around much... I did see Joe's guitar tech, Mark, at the VIP dinner in Indy. He just walked through and went to a back room, then back out again.

It was really crazy! Joe had a brief conversation with a man standing in front of my husband who was buying a lot of Eagles shirts - my husband said it appeared they may have known each other, but he could not make out what they were saying.

It was one of those things where I would never have expected to see him, so it was out of context for me. Even if I did recognize him right away, I don't think I would have known what to say or do!
