Spin off: Pictures you associate with other Borderers

As I was reading, and replying to, FP's thread about avatars and signatures, I thought about how I associate particular Eagles photos with various Borderers. It could be that they have used the pic for a long time as an avatar, or that it seems to fit the 'vibe' of that person, or that it reminds me of a particular concert/shared experience, or simply because I know how much they love it. I thought it might be fun to post our thoughts - and to post the pics, of course!

So, which photos do you associate with other Borderers and why? You may want to post multiple times as we go on! :)

The one that sticks out to me the most right this minute is the topless picture of Glenn. Always, always, always think of Dreamer whenever I happen across it.

If this is meant to be about Eagles photos as Troub said, I am not honestly that observant. I will say that I associate 70s Glenn with Brooke & HFO Glenn with Soda. There are a couple of late 70s softball shots of Glenn I associate with Molly.Perhaps I need to revisit the birthday threads & see if I can pick up a theme. Is that cheating?

I will be very interested to find out if anyone associates anything specific with me. I am not giving any hints. :pimp: (This week's avatar & anything else I took myself go without saying & I assume that also goes for other people; although I must say this. A couple of the photos I took myself, including this avatar, I am very proud of indeed).

Although she doesn't come around much anymore, I think I will always associate this picture with Ticky. She was such a fan of the poncho and coonskin cap look. :laugh:

Well I made a similar remark in another thread about always being associated with Smokin' Hot - poor, poor pitiful me! :grin:

FP covered a lot of the ones I was thinking of. Sometimes it is hard to associate a single picture with those of you who change your avatar frequently. But, I will say, every time I hear the words in Secular Praise - "don't go to church, but I feel the weight", I think of Willie and her banner; same goes for "I dream I'm on vacation cause I like the way that sounds" from Last Good Time In Town ... I always think of Prettymaid and her signature line.

I know there are others that will come to mind after I give this some thought, but these were some of the first ones that came to my mind.

I am so proud to be associated with that great line from Last Good Time in Town! It's the one thing I've never changed in the five years I've been here. I love the silly idea that a vacation could be something you do as an occupation, and I dream about it every day! ;-)

I do have to add, that whenever I look at most pictures of our guys, that I always associate certain Border members with those band members. Know what I mean? I can see a new great picture of Don and think, "oooh, Lou is going to love this" or see a pic of Don F with a guitar and think how much Austin will really dig it.

Here's another one that is one of my faves but every time I see it I think of Lou also because I know she loves this look (as was stated above) on Don.

To be fair, there was only one blurred photo at Niagara Falls. I was not able to take more than one photo on the first night (see signature). The blurred one on the second night is at the keyboard & then I gave up until I got to the front (see above, my avatar & there is one more).
