I found this article. Here are the new tour dates in the US.

Hmm Atlanta and New Orleans. :partytime:

I think we have individual threads made for each. It seems that the New Orleans show is a week before the culmination of Mardi Gras? Sounds like a party to me!

That would be great. I would love to go to New Orleans but I think I've blown my concert budget for the next year or so. I need to save in case there IS a European leg and Laura is looking for Taylor Swift tix too

Great! Looks like I will be headed to Cincinnati or Columbus Ohio.

Thanks for that shun!

I'm really surprised they are continuing in the states, but we'll have lots of happy people here!

Aren't they going to be exhausted? Pleased for you all but selfishly want them to come to the UK instead.

I would look for them in Europe in the late spring and early summer. Just a guess...

Very excited for DC. I already had plans to be down there that weekend for a concert on Friday. Great timing! I thought MSG would be my last shows on the tour, so am happy about that.

NOLA would be the only one I could make at this point, but I'm thinking they might announce more.

Soda. You could pick me up in Jackson on your way New Orleans. LOL

The only thing that makes me hesitate is that I'd have to be back at work at 8:00 am Monday. That drive home Sunday night immediately after the show would be pretty brutal.

Same for me. I have to go to work the next day at 8:00. I done that before, but it was a Friday or Saturday night. I drove down to the coast and went home straight after the show twice. That wasn't fun at all. I was tired.

It would be 6 for you while its half for me. Maybe I will take off. I guess I better save my money from my vacation I'm taking next week.

Would it be greedy to hope that they will swing back into NYC and play at the Barclay's Center in Brooklyn at some point?? It's the only reason I would have to actually go into this stadium at this point, and I work right across the street from it!

I can't see that happening with Mr. Dolan being such a good friend of theirs!

I was in Barclay's earlier this year for the Joe Walsh / Bob Seger concert. Nice venue.

Great, NYC Fan - maybe a few of us can meet up before or after the show. At this point, this may be the only show that I'll go to out of the new ones that have been announced since it is only a two-hour drive for me. I may just buy something at the box office the night of the show if I can't find a good ticket at a reasonable price.

hubby commented last night that we ought to go see them in Vegas Man that would be so fantastic!

Yes it would, s-c. But just as a reminder to anyone considering Vegas, the shows there usually have an abbreviated 2-hour set list. My guess is that the set list would be the same as it was for The Salmon Festival back in July.

We probably won't do it. It just made me smile that hubby even wanted to. We just don't have that much money to hop to Vegas.

Lizzy, you are so lucky! I'm so happy that they are adding more cities.

Now if I can only win the Powerball jackpot :)

If you do, just remember I'm your best friend! Actually, Mega Millions seems to have a higher jackpot and it's a dollar cheaper!

Great news for those in the parts of US they will be visiting.

Do you think these new dates make it more or less likely that they will tour UK / Europe next year, or less.

As SS said, we don’t want them to be tired out.

I have been hoping for an announcement early in 2014.

Sold out in Houston. Wonder if there is any chance of a Sat night addition like they did in Dallas last month?

Does anyone know if they are planning on doing a DVD of the tour? It's going to be my only way to see the excitement. Was in the hospital for GI problems again when the tickets went on sale. Then my dear brother passed away weeks before the concert and he was my mobility guy so I couldn't have gone even with tickets from the secondary market. The guys could really reach a lot of people with a DVD of this tour.

There has been no announcement yet about a HOTE tour dvd but we are all hoping LTF. If it is their last big tour I bet there will be a dvd. Let's all keep our fingers crossed!!!

And I am so sorry for the loss of your brother LTF. You have my deepest sympathies.

Hope you are feeling better.

I'm also very sorry for loss.

We can all hope, but there wasn't one for LROOE, and there's been no talk of one for this either... but hey, if they figure out they can make some good money off of it... here's hoping!

S-C, that's wonderful! Congrats!

If you remember they talked of a dvd for LROOE, but it never happened. I sure wish they would do one for HotE tour. We can only hope!

He just said a little while ago that he has 40$ in chips for the local casino. Said on his birthday that he wanted to go turn the 40$ into a grand so we could fly to Vegas. I think he already has gotten the tickets and booked the air travel and to keep me from down right knowing he is back peddling and saying things like this. :yay:

well, today I am not so sure. We went shopping yesterday at the mall for a gift for his step-mom. The coach store is right next to were we were. We got her gift and hubby asked if Coach had any new purses I liked. I found a couple and hubby picked one and said "wrap it up for her" and then told me it was part of my Christmas. SO I don't know now if he did get us tickets, that is an awful lot of money. :( Don't get me wrong, I love the purse but really wanted to fly to Vegas.

Uh-oh. That reminds me of a story an older lady told me last week at church. She said her husband had told her he had the perfect gift for her, something he knew she would absolutely love and use every winter, and he couldn't wait to give it to her.

Now, she was positive that it was a fur coat (this was from back when those were still popular). She had always wanted one and she had mentioned it earlier to him for her "Christmas list." She saw that the box under the tree was big and she got even more excited, thinking it was a full length fur coat.

Christmas morning came. It was... a Christmas decoration. A statute for the yard.

She said she couldn't look at that decoration without thinking of her crushed dreams of a full-length fur coat! It remains in their attic 35 years later.

Well, even if it doesn't work out this time, keep your eyes peeled for another opportunity to catch the guys.

Thank you. Its okay. I got to see them in October.

Just wish he hadn't have said anything if he were just scoping it out.

Ps...would have been the perfect weekend as well because we get the next Monday and Tuesday off after the 14th
