Wondering if anyone can answer a question -

In 1989 when the tour began, Don Henley said the lineup on this tour was "the best band I ever played with" and included Dolette McDonald, Lynn Maybrey and Sheryl Crow as backup singers.

In this picture from the End of the Innocent tour program, not of those ladies are present.

Is this from a second round of touring? Also, who are the 4 women in the picture?

Thanks

I don't know why they're entirely different, but it probably does have something to do with the timing of the photograph in terms of the tour.

That lady on Don's far left is Mindy Stein. She's also sung backup for Stevie Nicks in the past, although she doesn't do so anymore. Not sure about the other three.

ETA: I thought that photo looked familiar! I have a tourbook from the Summer of 1991 and that photo is in it. Perhaps that's why the players aren't the same. I'm not even sure it's still technically the End of the Innocence tour at that point, although it's fair to group them together. The front just says "Summer Tour 1991." Here is who that tourbook lists:

Jennifer Condos
Beth Hooker
Marilyn Martin
Mindy Stein

I can't believe I didn't recognize Marilyn Martin, but in my defense, her face is hard to see with those bangs!

Jennifer Condos has also played with Stevie but I never would have guessed that was she. She's a bass player, not a backup singer. You can see her playing with Stevie here at about seconds 44-60 (she had far bigger hair then):

Thanks Sodascout. I now recognize Marilyn and Mindy but I can't figure out which one is Jennifer. Both Jennifer and Beth are blonds now so which is the brunette in the back?

Great video from this group when Henley appeared on Letterman around that time but Jennifer is missing. One of my favorite songs.
