KLOS hinted they'd be back in L.A. yesterday so I wasn't a bit surprised to see TM just announced ticket sales for the Honda Center (my favorite SoCal venue) in Anaheim this afternoon. I'll keep my fingers crossed for CBBA in Ontario, California too!

I'm in.

Oh, GH, that's too bad. I said to my husband today that the Eagles just announced a concert in Boston on Sept 15 & his reply was "book it"! He has relatives in the Boston area that we haven't seen for a few years. It's not a done deal but, it looks promising. It would be great if we could meet up again!

Some tix go on sale tomorrow while I'm at work (I can't buy tickets on Ticketmaster since where I work blocks ads and the code to type in to prove you're human is actually an ad). Others go on sale on Sunday while I'm at church. Hmmm.

Well, GL, I have relatives that live outside of Boston that I was thinking about visiting. I may consider this one and the Madison Square Garden shows, but I can't make any definitive plans just yet. However, it would be great to see you and Harold again!

I'm not even sure I'll have a job when these shows take place, so I should be responsible and not spend the money. However... :D

VA - you are too good of a worker to not have a job! Besides some of these are close to you, right? Remember, NO regrets!

Contract is up on 9/15, and while we will rebid the thing, it's hard to say if we'll win. If not, I have a standing job offer back in VA, but hard to say when I'd actually start working...

Had a weird experience with the Amex presale today - opted for regular floor seats over the Fan Floor seat package and I got closer (and MUCH cheaper!!!) seats that way. (Fan Floor seats were center floor and mine are on Joe's side but I'm several rows closer to the stage).

Don't know if that's happening with other presales but just wanted to let anyone who's trying to buy right now know.

I just got presale notification from ticketmaster literally moments ago, hours after reading about it here! Don't have time to look for seats, have to wait till later tonight!

Here's what I don't get... They did Charlotte, NC, Raleigh, NC, and Greensboro, NC. They've only done DC twice (same amount as the Lincoln/Omaha NE area) and yet they've not hit Baltimore, Richmond, Norfolk/Hampton Rds, or anywhere else in MD or VA. Or even WV. They've not done Western New York at all, or Western MA. One in Boston, but none further north. Hopefully they'll get around to them sooner or later.

The logistics of available dates and turnover time to get to places probably works into the planning. I think of any major sporting events and the nightmare it must be to coordinate an entire season for however many different teams there are.

VAisForEagleLovers

True, but the places I just mentioned don't have NHL or NBA teams except for Buffalo (they have NHL). Those places might have sports team at lower levels, but those are usually easier to work around (not as many games). Plus, these last dates are all before either league begins their seasons.

I'm going to Utah soon for a mini vacation and help out a company I'm volunteering with. Too bad they're not there when I'm there in May. This same thing happened to me when they played in St. Louis. I wasn't going to be in Missouri until two weeks later for vacation. If they were there the same week I was in Missouri or I was in Missouri that week, I would had drove to St. Louis to see them.

When the time comes to get your tickets, if they are sold out, look on KSL.com or Craigs list for SLC. Usually when people around Salt Lake are trying to sell their concert tickets, that's where they post.

Hope you can go- I can't wait to see them. How far will you have to travel?

I also hope that everyone who wants to see the band gets a chance to do so. You don't want to have to mortgage the house, but it's definitely worth doing some penny pinching and some rescheduling to go to one of these shows. It's hard to imagine that you'd be disappointed. GOOD LUCK!!!

I've abandoned takeout and have started to cook in again, and take food into work for lunch. It makes a big saving!
