Amazon Smile

Maybe you all have discussed this somewhere on here already, but I thought I would formally introduce everyone to Amazon Smile. :)

Amazon Smile is the same as the regular Amazon site, but automatically donates 0.5% of your purchase to your favorite charity (and there are LOTS of charities to choose from.)

0.5% May not seem like much, but when you think of how many people shop Amazon, I think it's a good thing. Just don't forget to donate to your favorite charity on your own, too.

So, if you shop Amazon.com, you may want to bookmark the Amazon Smile site and pick a charity. Might as well get a warm fuzzy while you shop!

I thought we discussed it here, too, but now that I think about it, you and I discussed on Facebook. It's a great idea and doesn't cost you anything. I have a feeling they'd donate the money either way, and it's great that they let their customers help choose where they donate.

My workplace sent me a link to use Amazon through Smile, with the percentile going to the school. It's definitely a great program!

I bet if I try it they will tell me it doesn't work here. But I'll try anyway. Not doing any online purchases at the moment as I've just booked our family holiday and my flights to NYC in September. And I've had to pay my car insurance. I think my card is burning my fingers at this stage!!!
