With the 20th anniversary of HFO coming up in a week, are we going to have a viewing party? I know we thought about it back in April for the actual anniversary since April was the taping.

Anybody game for it?

Right now Soda and I both have a lot going on with our jobs and personal lives, so I don't think either of us are in the position to organize it.

However, the Border chatroom is open to all members anytime so anyone that wants to try to pull something together, please feel free.

The 20th anniversary of HFO premiering on MTV is next Sunday, October 26. Let's have chat party for the 20th Anniversary in FlashChat. So break out your DVDs, pop some popcorn and watch the guys getting back together 20 years ago. Who's coming?

Any day is good with me. I actually don't do anything on the weekend. IF I do, its usually early that day. This is a week before I go on vacation, so works out for me.

Going to have to check my DVD. The last time I tried to watch it I couldn't get it to play right. But I'll watch for the date/time you settle on and try to be here.

shun - Hope you don't mind, but I went ahead and merged your two threads about the chat viewing party and gave the thread a new name. I thought it would be less confusing rather than having folks posting in both threads.

I will try make the chat party next Saturday, but, honestly, I don't think I will be able to make it at this point. But I'll try my best to pop in, even if it's just for a little while.

I have been so busy at work the last two weeks with our inspector coming in that I totally missed this thread. I'm sorry now coz I have stayed up it being the midterm break. And our clocks changed so I got an extra hour sleep! Oh well. I'll be more vigilant in future :sad:

We had so much fun last night. I know the anniversary was today, but I think last night was a better time to do it instead of today. I probably will watch HFO again tonight.

I told Soda we should do a chat for the Farewell 1's 10th Anniversary next year since that's the next big anniversary.

Now Happy 20th Anniversary to the HFO special.

Sounds like everyone had a great time and I'm sorry to have missed it. I checked my DVD a few days ago and it just won't play properly so I opted to skip. Note To Self: REPLACE DVD!

Shun, we often announce an official 'chat party' like the one on Saturday night, but really there is nothing to stop a few of us getting together in an informal manner too if it suits us all to chat and watch a DVD.
