Radio talk show host Steve Dahl has recently joined the WLS89 Chicago station. His show runs from 2 to 6pm. When I got in my car just now for the short ride home from work, Joe Walsh was on the phone with him! I got 3 short minutes of hilarious Joe. Here's what he said.

"My wife always says, 'Why don't you introduce me?' And I say, Because I don't know who it is!"

"I went to the Nike store and bought these bright colored socks. They have an 'R' on one and an 'L' on the other. It makes me wonder now how many times I've had my socks on the wrong feet! You know those days when everything seems to go wrong? You probably have your socks on the wrong feet!"

"You know when you see a good movie and you want to tell your friends about it, but you can't think of the name of the movie, so you try to tell them who's in it, but you can't remember their name ... So you try to remember other movies they've been in, and you can't remember that either? So you're like, 'You know that movie ...that guy's in it ...you know, that guy that was in that movie..."

He was talking in his 'silly' voice and seemed to be having a good time. Maybe you can listen to it on their website later.

No, no! I didn't make this cake. Gosh, I'm crazy for the man but not that crazy. This cake was delivered to Joe backstage at an Eagles gig last year!

Thanks for those photos of young Joe, MV. They are great, and I don't remember ever seeing the kindergarten photo.
