Here is a video clip of Timothy from the local news!! He was definitely the big draw and provided the most star wattage to the evening. They should have shown Richie, who hired TBS, but I'm not complaining!!!

Timothy was interviewed by CBS Denver. There’s a short video on their website:

Wow, thanks SM!!

When I saw the photos of Thursday rehearsals and saw a lady on stage I thought, "Oooh, maybe they're gonna play Rose of Cimarron!" I don't know why, just because it has some high notes. Yay! Frankly, I don't think they need her, especially on Good Feelin' to Know, the guys sound great.

Maybe the full video of Keep on Tryin' will surface.

Wonder if Timothy ever thought he'd be in two music hall of fames, it's so cool.

Edit: I have to say that one guy on stage with a shoulder camera does not inspire confidence that this was filmed for TV. Hopefully there are some cameras zoomed in in the balcony or something.

Here's Timothy with Joe's former manager, David Spero. This was posted on his page and of course other pages.

After all my years in Eagleland I never took a picture with TBS. Tonight just before Poco got inducted into the Colorado Music Hall of Fame we finally did. It was a tremendous night of music!

This is great, thanks SM. They played a lot of songs..

I wonder when the last time was that Timothy performed Rose of Cimarron? Poco played it during the 2009 Stagecoach show when he joined them, but he hadn't come out on stage yet...I'm just thinking how strange it would be to play a song(s) over and over, with a band that was known for playing a lot of shows, year after year, then you join another band and literally don't play that song in public for almost 40 years? I'm not saying that happened here, but it could...must be strange and bittersweet for him. And fun.

Great vids and photos. Sounds like a fantastic night!

I wonder how long they rehearsed? Like MC says, it had been a while.

Great catch, UTW. I'll go with 1992?

And, does the sign on the monitor say "All visitors must disrobe completely." ???

I would love to have a collage of every photo where Joe and Tim are wrapped in each others' arms!

Or Timothy laying his head on Joe's shoulders. There's a lot of pictures of that.

I guess he forgot or maybe he was talking about just having a picture of him and Timothy together and nobody else in the picture with them.

Good work as always, SM.

Here is an article about it that says nice things about Timothy! It also mentions Randy. I'm not sure that's it's "curious" that Randy wasn't mentioned. He was out of the band before the first album came out, and didn't they delete some or all of his vocals? I know they deleted his photo from the album cover and replaced it with a dog. They must have kept his bass playing, though. Anyway, I don't think it's surprising that Richie didn't include him.

http://www.heyreverb.com/blog/2015/01/12/colorado-music-hall-of-fame-2015-induction-concert-photos/99003/

Edit: Just went back and read this and don't want it taken the wrong way. I'm not trying to minimize whatever contributions Randy made to Poco's first album. Just saying he was in the band for such a short time, not surprised he's not recognized 47 years later.

Thanks for the videos and photos. I took a quick peek but I am going to find a nice chunk of time this weekend to really enjoy them. I especially like TBS in the photo posted by UTW where Joe has his arms wrapped around TBS. His smile seems so genuine and he looks great. Can this be an avatar?

OMG - This thread is awesome! Due to my recent hectic schedule at work, I am just now catching up here. Thanks everyone for the great detective work here. My, my how I would have loved to have been able to be there in person to see this. Given my partiality towards Rose of Cimmaron, that alone would hae been worth the trip!

This ceremony aired on AXS tv last week and I recorded it. I finally watched it last night and Timothy was so great! The audio and video are different and so much better than what we saw on YouTube. He sang Keep on Tryin', Rose of Cimarron, and some others and the camera really focused on him beautifully and his voice sounded outstanding - like it was 40 years ago. It was so cool to see him, Richie Furay, Paul Cotton and Rusty Young all playing together - they all sounded really good. They said they hadn't played Rose of Cimarron all together since 1976. If AXS re-airs I would definitely recommend it!

OK so I just recorded Rose of Cimarron off of my tv with my iPhone, and the quality is terrible! You can see my lamp reflected in the background and it sounds like Youtube video. I will do it again tomorrow (when my kids are in school) with the lights out and the sound bar way up! Better than nothing I guess! Stay tuned...

ETA: I wish to note that I work full time including Fridays but I have tomorrow off because its Cesar Chavez day. Whatever, I'll take it!!:hilarious::partytime:

I also recorded this MC and watched it tonight. It was great!!!!! I would also highly recommend this. It was so good to see Timothy. He looked great too. Makes me miss Eagles more. Don't know when I will ever see him again live. Maybe next time Poco plays Steeleville Mo he will also come and play. Last year whole band was there except for him.

I don't get AXS TV either. I'm on Uverse and its a package higher than what I have right now which sucks. We use to have that channel, but when my mother downgraded her package, we lost AXSTV. They do have some great specials and concerts that come on that channel.
