I recently found a copy of Glenn's 1967 record "Such a Lovely Child" and "Burned" on the Hideout Record label under the group name The Mushrooms. Does anybody have any history of the record, like how many copies were pressed, exactly how rare this record is, who else played with Glenn on the songs? Bob Seger wrote, produced and arranged the songs, any idea if Bob plays on the songs? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

There's a bit about The Mushrooms in this: http://www.michiganrockandrolllegends.com/mrrl-hall-of-fame/105-glenn-frey

This is Doug Gunsch (and the other guy was bass player in The Subterraneans):

I don't know the stats on it, but I imagine the record is fairly rare as I think it was a regional release.

Thanks, that helped a lot. I really didn't know much about Glenn's early days in Detroit, that article really helped. I guess I am lucky to add this rarity to my Eagles collection.

Congrats on your acquisition, JB. I often wondered whose idea it was to have Glenn channel Peter Noone on SALC. Let's just say that I'm glad he ditched the accent and moved on to bigger and better things.
