It's a toss up as to which will come first, Don Henley's new album or the Barnstorm reunion;

The 2015 slate of inductees includes Dan Fogelberg, Joe Walsh & Barnstorm ("Rocky Mountain Way") and Caribou Ranch, the famed recording high-country studio. An induction ceremony and concert on tap for the late summer or early fall.

We thought this was a big enough deal to be its own thread, so I moved it, Funk 50. Hope you don't mind!

I don't mind too much.

I didn't think it was worth a thread of it's own as I think the "late summer or early fall" reference is at this point pure speculation. The previous March/April date came and went.

The Colorado Music Hall Of Fame has new quarters.

Dan Fogelberg is also to be inducted. I've been checking out the progress of Dan's Tribute Album. Poco's Richie Furay (70 years old!) has contributed Run For The Roses. He wanted to do Don't Lose Heart but apparently Dobie Gray beat him to it. Richie has subsequently recorded his version ofDon't Lose Heart for his new record Hand In Hand.

Irving, Joe and The Eagles must do something for Dan but it'd be more speculation to say any more. Sounds like it hasn't been shelved though.

F50, we'll add facts as we get them and when it happens it'll be a bigger deal than it is now.

I initially thought this wasn't worth posting here but with a Barnstorm reunion in the offing, Joe Vitale will definitely be worth listening to.

I've been trying to figure out how to listen to the Vitale interview with Trevor Joe Lennon.

The headline says:

Joe Vitale join's me July 14th 2pm est!!

The link says:

Trevor Joe Lennon live in the a.m.
7am-1pm Monday - Friday

Brilliant!

:dizzy:   :headscratch:

Well Trevor Joe Lennon is one of those interviewers who talks more about himself than his interviewee, and is still obsessed by The Beatles.

The Hall Of Fame was mentioned, as a tourist attraction, Vitale didn't mention being inducted! However he did say he was teaming up with Walsh in September for live dates and recording.

Also mentioned that he's in a new Jonathan Demme movie, starring Meryl Streep, named Ricki And The Flash. Meryl plays Ricki, an aspiring rock star, Joe and the late Rick Rosas, play the rhythm section in her bar band.

Great Walsh news!
