Joe's website is putting up a link that announces shows for this fall, beginning somewhere in Ohio. The link currently doesn't work. I'll keep checking and post it when it works. HH called me and gave me the heads up, which is great because I'm still in a PEW hangover...

The link is working for me. If it doesn't, reload the page. That's what I had to do. Cool. Don and Joe will be touring this fall. Its funny that both Don and Joe will be in Port Chester, NY in October. Too bad Joe is only touring in the northeast. I would had loved to see him in concert.

Yes, it's working now for me, too. Hopefully it'll stay up!

I'll create threads for them!

To read that Joe will be touring with Joe Vitale makes me ridiculously happy even tho they aren't coming anywhere near where I live. Things are as they should be. Tour info! (http://mailinglist.gctrl.com/t/y-5D51E4DBA352727E)

Here's a quote from the press release by the first venue, Packard Hall:

This tour will reunite Joe with one of his Barnstorm band members, keyboardist and drummer Joe Vitale. Additionally Walsh will be supported with band members Gannin Arnold on guitar, Tommy Simms on bass and Drew Hester on drums.

Some, if not all, of these events have presale dates starting on Wednesday, 7/29!

How is it that these decades-older rockers have more energy than me?! I get fatigued just looking at their schedules. :)

Please see the Tour thread for more information. Hopefully someone can merge this later today as I can't do it!

This quote raised an eyebrow too VA;

I’m going back in the catalog to dig out some songs that I haven’t ever played live, but everything everyone’s coming to hear will also be in the show,

Could we actually see some Walsh solo shows that hit 2 hours. I suppose Vitale will be helping out with the vocals.
I need to look up Tommy Simms.

Me too! (I'm super lazy, though). It stinks that he's only doing the northeast, mostly. Guess that I'll stick to trying to see Don live.

“I’m going back in the catalog to dig out some songs that I haven’t ever played live,

I'm absolutely delighted that Joe's going to rediscover some of his long discarded classics. I'm not a Foo Fighters fan but Taylor Hawkins asking Joe to play County Fair, rather than a Walsh signature tune, has had the effect I hoped it would. :partytime:

Decades (he'll have to write some new lines to update it) plus side 1 of Barnstorm are two that immediately spring to mind.

I'm off to dream up set lists :yay:

I hope he will come across the US and not just stay on the coasts. :sad:

I merged the two threads. Normally, the D.C. show would be a no-brainer for me. However, if the Pope will be in D.C. that night, I may have to rethink this. It may just be too much of a hastle to have to deal with on a school night. :sad:

It's difficult because it's far enough away, the Pope may even decide not to come to the US at all, but it'll likely happen. I was thinking I could get a ticket and sell it if my new job means I can't travel for it, but with the Pope in town, it might be a tough ticket to sell.

This will be right during my surgery recovery for the second surgery (which is 8 weeks after the first one). I hope for my sanity he DOESN'T schedule something local during that time because I will beat myself up because I can't go.

Please Joe - schedule something for late November/early December if you are coming to IL! :partytime:

Shoot, why did Joe have to release these and have them go onsale while I was away? He's so inconsiderate! ;)

I might try for his Hampton Beach show since it's during my October Break. Otherwise, I'm not sure, as there's nothing near me.

When Joe announced the line up for his live band, I raised an eyebrow when no backing singers were announced but it looks like Lois Mahalia, with a new look, will be in the band.

If she sings this song, I think it'll go down well;
