Border Polls?

I am curious -- have there been any polls in the past? I am still finding new gems on this site, but I haven't seen any. For example, I am curious about the generational make up of the members. I am very happy to see a number of hard-core younger fans. (Gotta keep expanding the fan base.) I think it would be interesting to see the breakdown.

I haven't seen that many polls on this board, but I did start one myself asking people which Eagles album they listened to first. There's a few others apart from this and the one PM mentioned I think but I'd need to check. The three most popular choices were the debut album, Hotel California and Greatest Hits Vol. 1.

I'd be interested in a poll about the generational breakdown of the members. Although it's not quite what you're looking for, there was a fairly recent thread which asked people to give the US and UK #1 singles on their date of birth, which might give you some idea about the ages of people on here:

As you can see from this thread, I am one of the younger members (twenty-one and strong as I can be :grin:) but I can think of at least three posters who've been active over the 16 months since I've joined that are younger than me and there are probably more.

I think that it would be cool to see a break down of the ages of the borderers and how many we have in each age group.

Good to hear there are others interested in the ages we have represented on the Border. I'll start a poll tonight, so I have some time to think about the best categories to include. For now, I've gotta get back to my day job :(
