Thanks for posting those, Shun. Love the smile in that middle one! I like the vest and blue jeans look better than the vest and black pants he was wearing before.

I know there's been a fair amount of discussion about the young women Don has employed as singers for duets and back-up. IMHO, it would look a little more appropriate if they wore jeans or leggings instead of those short little baby doll dresses. I have nothing against short skirts, but they don't look professional. In fact, I think they make them look even younger. Especially under the circumstances with the age difference and all, I just think it would project a more positive image.

Hotel California. Yep. Don is getting soft with letting take pictures. Its better than nothing. This video is not that clear and its sound good. Don even get on the bongos.

ITA. There's a reason they're called "baby doll" dresses. It does indeed make them look even younger than they are. I don't get it either. If they were dressed more maturely, their youth wouldn't be so glaring. It's the kind of dress I see my 18 year old students wearing, and these girls also look like they left the classroom to go to the stage.

The first time I saw two of them perform with him at the Cherokee Music Festival in Texas, I honestly thought they were friends of his daughter, or maybe the daughters of a couple friends, who he was letting sing with him to give them a thrill. It never occurred to me that they were professional backing singers who would tour with him.

The good news is that they certainly can sing! When he does a romantic duet with one of them, I just try to concentrate on the music and ignore the jarring visual they present. The girls are very talented.

I totally agree.

So agree! What is Don thinking?

Austin, lol! He might as well give it up on that!

I have no problem with how the backup singers dress, they're grown women.

You're right, EagleLady, they're grown women and can wear what they like. There's plenty of over fifties here who have no problem wearing dresses above the knees and these are only in their twenties. I'm sure Don has no say in the matter and would soon be put in his place by these talented, confident women if he tried to tell them what to wear. Are we now saying that because he's in his sixties he can only sing with women nearer his own age because it doesn't 'look' right? He's only singing with them - not having children like Ronnie Wood!

DD. You are soo funny(that poor kid),. All Don is waiting on is grandchildren now, but you are right.

Yes their dresses are a little short, but its really not that short. You want to talk about short. You should see one of Joe's backup singers. She's basically half naked. She almost wearing daisy dukes and she looks older than Lily, Erica and Lara.

Oh well. I really have no problem with their dresses. I'm paying more attention to the good looking with dreamy blue eyes. LOL I myself wouldn't wear it. Heck I didn't wear dresses that short when I was in my 20s. I was never happy about my body and I was about their size in my 20s.

What is the deal with IDWTHAM? It sounds like a woman singing it? Couldn't he have covered something more appropriate for the circumstances from that album?

From what I heard, Lily, Lara and Erica sing IDWTHA. I heard he leaves the stage, they sing that song and Don comes back on stage after. I don't know why.

From what I hear from people who went to the shows that Lily, Lara and Erica sing IDWTHA. I heard he leaves the stage, they sing that song and Don comes back on stage after. I don't know why. Sorry I can't answer that part.

When I saw "I Don't Want to Hear Any More" on the setlist, I thought someone had made a mistake! Well, maybe Don needs a little break and this provides it for him.

And yes, the girls are "grown" (or at least legal) but at the shows I went to, I heard several people commenting on their youth. One person was rather unkind about it and laughed at Don for surrounding himself with pretty teenage girls. I defended Don vigorously to that person and corrected her about their age; I received an eye roll for my pains. Obviously Don shouldn't be influenced by haters, but different clothing would mean fewer comments like that from people who aren't ardent fans like we are.

In the end, though, it's the music that matters. There's no problem there and as I said, they are quite talented.

I get the impression that the young backing singers are dragging attention away from Don and his music. I don't know if that's a good thing or bad.

An mp3/wma version of Don's Netherlands concert has been posted on the fabulous Sugarmegs website )http://tela.sugarmegs.org/latestadditions.aspx) to listen to/download
