It's great to see the band nominated for an award.

I'm able to watch the show in Germany and I always do but they have never shown the country artists. So I doubt we get to see the Eagles. :(

Yep - this is AWESOME! And I know I am probably a teeny bit biased, but looking at the list, I think they have a very good chance of winning. That would be doubly AWESOME!

That's so great. When are the Grammys?

They are normally held in February. I'm happy about the nomination but I don't know what the chances of winning are.

I'm SO happy for the boys - that's really fantastic and I'm so proud of them. Whether they win or not, I think I speak for all of us when I say that they will always be winners to us!

I'm hoping at this point that they will get a spot to perform on the show!

Just read this on CMT.com:

After falling back to second place for two weeks, the Eagles' Long Road Out of Eden has again sprung to the top of Billboard's country albums chart, swapping positions with Garth Brooks' The Ultimate Hits.

This bodes well for the Eagles to earn that Grammy! :blueblob:

Extremely unlikely. Glenn will be at Pebble Beach.

I know. I can't imagine him making the cut and then bailing out to do the Grammy thing. Oh well.

 I forgot about that . The timing isn't great, then, is it? :(

Very cool to hear about the Grammy nomination, I'm keeping my fingers crossed. That's also great about them topping the Billboard country charts again. It's very hard to get to number one, let alone regain it.
LROOE is still up at number 6 in the UK charts.
