I saw this posted on facebook. Oh my. It was interesting to hear this song as a duet, but it sounded good. Sounded like Don change the key to the song, but still sounded good.

Photos from tonight's show. Looks like the beard is slowly coming back.

If Setlist.fm is to be believed, this unprecedented third encore was the first time on this tour Don sang Wasted Time. . . He hasn't broken out this gem in a while. In fact, he last sang it solo was way back in February. . . 2001. . . And even with The Eagles it hasn't been brought out since November 2005. A rare treat for those of us lucky enough to be there and probably is thanks in no small part to the very loud, attentive, and above all appreciative Montreal crowd. Merci!

Thanks, Shun for the video and the photos! As he's been saying in interviews for the last few months, he finally did something spontaneous! I like the pictures where he points and the ones where he's playing guitar.

Welcome to the Border, RCWestcott, and thanks for sharing that piece of setlist trivia! It's really cool that the audience were loud and enthusiastic enough for him to come back for a 3rd Encore (a proper one, not one of those, uh, you know). Are there any other details that you'd like to share about the concert? Like any other favorite moments or peculiar occurrences?

Also, here's another link for photos from a freelancer: http://www.capturacamera.com/news/don-henley?rq=don%20henley

The set list in the review indicated that he sang I Don't Want To Hear Anymore . Is this correct? If so, has he done it before?

I wouldn't be surprised if Don starts pulling out other Eagles he sang into his setlist. I was surprised when I played that video it was Wasted Time. I'm guessing the last time Don sang WT was probably the Farewell 1 tour.

I wonder what other songs he will pull out. Eagles songs and his solo songs. I would love to hear Don sing I Will Not Go Quietly.

Its in his setlist, but his backup singers sing I Don't Want To Hear Anymore. Don takes a "pancake and cigarette break" something like that(I could be saying that wrong). Its been in his setlist since the beginning of this year's tour.

Thanks, Shun. I guess I haven't really looked at the set list, just read some of the reviews. Seems to be an odd choice. I wonder why he did choose it!

I am curious too about why he chose that song for them to do. A more popular song would probably have gone over better.

It makes sense when you hear it live - there's almost three parts to the song so it gives each girl a chance to show off their skills and it works really well. The crowd really enjoy it.

Great review and welcome Lori 16
