I haven't found any reviews of the concert yet, but here's a video of the band performing PEF at last night's concert.

This is the closest to a review I've found. It has the setlist (which looks much the same as the other shows).

Thank you, UtW.

Here are some more videos, before they disappear. The guys upfront are all wearing black while Don is sporting a grey shirt.

Following the successful Classic West and East concerts in Los Angeles and New York earlier this year, The Eagles and Doobie Brothers brought their classic rock music to a near capacity crowd at Safeco Field in Seattle for The Classic Northwest.

The concert began right on time at 7:00 pm as The Doobies hit the stage, kicking things off with their Billboard charting version of “Jesus Is Just Alright” to start off the evening. The Doobie Brothers continued with “Rockin’ Down the Highway” to set the tone for their opening set.

Sounds like everyone in the audience had a good time! Love the Doobies' backdrop. Thank you Dawn. The pics in the article more than confirm it--Timothy has an actual beard, not just a goatee. I don't think I've ever seen him with a beard before! :-)

Yep Timothy has a beard but what really caught my eye are those two weird looking bumps on top of his head. They look like mini man-buns lol! Also I notice Joe has his moustache back which I don't particularly care for but that's just me.

I didn't even notice those bumps, lol! Upon closer inspection it looks like something in the backdrop.

Here's the band performing Heartache Tonight. At first Vince's voice sounded so deep I thought maybe Deacon was singing lead.

And here's Take It to the Limit sung by Vince. At the beginning Don thanks the audience for 45 wonderful years, then says, "this next one's for Randy Meisner, wherever he may be."

Thanks for finding/sharing these, Delilah. I have only got to watch TITTL so far and it still brings a tear to my eye when Don mentions Randy. I can only hope and pray that all bad feelings between them have been mended by now. I know that in the past Randy said all was good with him, I hope it's the same with Don.

Thanks for posting the videos so I can go back and relive the concert! My mom and I live in Idaho and when we heard that the Eagles would be in Seattle, we knew we couldn't pass that chance up as we have no idea if they'll be that close again. We are so glad we went; it was worth every penny. We bought pricey tickets, but we got what we paid for - we were in 12th row center and the sound from our seats was fantastic. The Doobie Brothers were great, but the Eagles blew us away. The Eagles' harmonies were as flawless as ever, and Vince and Deacon fit right in. If Deacon was nervous, we sure couldn't tell. The Eagles made it worth dealing with 50,000 people! The guitar parts were excellent, the guys were in remarkable voice, and Don nailed my favorite song, The Last Resort. It was one of the two best concerts I've ever been to, the other being Don Henley at Chateau Ste. Michelle last year. The production on the video screens was impressive as well. For us it was the concert of a lifetime, and we are so happy we made the effort to attend. If you can get to one of their shows but are on the fence about going, I highly recommend attending. As our TSA agent said as we were heading to Seattle, "They just don't make them like the Eagles anymore."

Interesting perspective on the show from someone who was opposed to the "Eagles" touring without Glenn and did not attend the Classic West and East on purpose -

I hope so as well. In the blog posted above, the writer mentions how happy Don is on stage these days. He seems to be in a good place. And thinking of his new grandson must bring a smile to his face, too.

Thanks for sharing the blog link - Debbie got some great photos! Love the close-up one of Don smiling. And Deacon looks great, of course.

NKIT, I agree with you - I don't think the beard is a good look for Tim - he usually looks so youthful!

Its funny that writer picked up on don being happier because my first impression of the videos was that Don was much more chatty and easy going. At the classic east he didn't really say much. The obvious stuff about Glenn, a tiny bit of info about some songs but that was it. It was nice to see him dedicate TITTL to Randy and I liked how he gave a shoutout to JD in best of my love. His tone even seemed happier. I wonder what caused this to happen, maybe just have emotionally gotten to a better place?

From watching the videos from this show compared to Classic West, you can tell all the guys are definitely looser and more relaxed. I think it was hard for them to do the first show without Glenn, to see if they could even do it. You can tell Deacon is more at ease as well.

I love how close Deacon seems to be with the guys especially Don. They really do seem like his uncles, checking to make sure he's doing okay. I really liked the little hug Don gave him at the end of Life in the Fast Lane.

I agree that they were probably nervous and uncertain at their first show without Glenn, not to mention a whole new dynamic with 2 new guys. Once they realized the sky wasn’t going to fall on them, it’s become much easier. Also, they probably did not know what to expect in terms of audience response. Since it has been overwhelmingly positive, it’s no doubt been a load off their minds and they can just enjoy performing. Maybe Don wasn’t sure he could pull it off as the sole leader. Now he knows.

Btw, here’s Life in the Fast Lane, with the moment at the end where Don and Joe hug Deacon. So sweet!

I think it was just spontaneous. It was at the end of the song. Don put his arm around Deacon and touched heads with him. It looked to me like Don was showing how proud he was of Deacon. At least, that was the vibe I got from it. I'm glad Don and the rest of the guys are so supportive of Deacon. It can't be easy for him.

I haven't seen them live, and it's unlikely that I will. However, from what I see in the videos Deacon has done a very good job in a very tough role. I have no idea what the future holds, but if he continues playing with Eagles, I can only see him getting even better. Every other person on that stage has had decades of experience.
