Here a few videos from last night I found. Last show until this Friday in Nashville. I just feel so bad for Timothy. I know how he feels. Been there last year. He has to be uncomfortable. I know I was very uncomfortable while my ankle was healing. I couldn't a comfortable spot.

Peaceful Easy Feeling. The video quantity is not good of course, but the audio is fine. Will is in this video too and Vince goes to Will. I wonder what they were talking about.

In The City. I still hate this song.

I notice Will playing along to PEF. And Shun, I have just now gotten to where I can listen to In The City again, LOL.

Here’s a review by someone who agrees Vince should be playing more lead guitar.

So happy for you, TBF! You're going to have a terrific time! :band:

OMG, what a fantastic evening! The show was so great! There were a couple of odd parts. Glenn announced they were going to do over 3 dozen songs over three hours, but I counted the same songs from setlist.com so 28 in all. And after the last encore Joe was the last to leave the stage and he walked over to pick up the stool Timothy had been sitting, on then threw it down hard. Don’t know what that was about.

But the music was every bit as exciting as I’d dreamed it would be. Timothy did have some difficulty hitting the higher notes and Don seemed to have some hoarseness, but the music was still brilliant. Glenn would have been so proud of his son who did an incredible job and looked so much like his Dad when I last saw the Eagles back in 1980. It was almost like seeing Glenn as a young man and only the rest of us got older. Dons son came onstage for a few songs, mostly staying in the shadows except for one or two songs. At one point Don walked over to him in the shadows and they played facing each other.

Vince Gill was very gracious and appreciative of being included in the tour. He said “It’s such a great feeling to be 61 and totally scared to death”, noting that he’d been a fan from day one and loved the music. I thought he was a great addition with his talents.

One thing I was surprised about was that there was no announcement of “no cameras, no videos” as they had done for the HOTE tour. I got a few pictures and videos that I need to figure out how to upload. We had excellent seats just a few rows up off the floor on Timothy and Vince’s side.

The only bad part of the evening was having three drunk and obnoxious people sitting behind me. One woman spent the first couple of songs screaming into her cell phone, then the two women spent the rest of the evening screaming stupid things to the band at the top of their lungs. And their male companion couldn’t stand up on his own so ge grabbed the back of my chair and in the process put his hands in my hair and pulled it so hard it jerked my neck. I have RA in my neck and spine so that really hurt. My hair had actually been tucked in the back of my jacket so it wasn’t hanging over my chair. None of them knew who the band members even were.

Their staging background was pretty amazing with all the graphics and images.

What a fantastic night I will remember forever!

Thrilled that you got to see them TBF!!! Thank you for the review. I wonder if we'll hear more about Joe and the chair...

Did you mean that Don said they were going to do 30 songs?

EagleInKansas

Don has said they were going to do "more than three dozen" songs two nights in a row. I'm not sure how many he thinks a dozen is.

Joe was just having fun. Being a rockstar.

I'm getting back to liking it, but I still don't like it. I'm soo happy I'm gone back to hearing In The City maybe 5 times a week than 5 times a day. I might be better once I see them in June.

I would had loved to see Don going over to Will and playing together. A good father and son moment. Too bad no pictures of that.

Don has his father-son moment with Will during Those Shoes. It's very sweet. But I don't think photographers are allowed to shoot that long into the show.

TimBFan - I hope you don't mind, but since this is a review of a specific show, I have moved your post and the accompanying comments to this thread.

I am assuming that it is the KC is the show you were reviewing, but, if not, please let me know and I will get this in the correct thread pronto.

Have to say the video boards are looking awesome. The set and lighting looks so cool in all photos - more dramatic and dynamic than the set on the HoTE tour, I think.

Hey guys - I'm not sure exactly what is going on with the board, but this is the second time today a deleted post got moved to another thread. I went in and tried to delete the post that Dawn had already deleted in another thread and when I do that it deletes this entire thread. So for now, please ignore that post as it isn't intended to be here. Until we can figure out what's going on, I may try to create a new thread and move the relevant posts. Thanks for your patience.

ETA: Okay I think I've got this fixed, but I still don't know how it got moved. Anyway, I'm getting ready to move some other posts over to this thread so, hopefully, this will work.

It really was beautifully staged. My camera couldn’t accurately capture the colors in the lighting.

Will try to add videos once I get them uploaded to YouTube, but I’m not sure which little icon above to click on.

It’s even better than what I saw at the classic east. They had some really cool stuff for some Joe songs (not sure which one) and they had one where they had Vince’s head in an old fashion tv. I’m not sure which one that was for either but whoever chooses their graphics is doing a fantastic job.

The time they were playing face to face, they were both in the shadows and it would have been hard to get a good picture. I had turned off my cell at that point and didn’t catch the picture in time. I could never have gone on any stage at his age, and thought he appeared to be remarkably calm for a lad so young.

SBR soundin' tight! Don, Timothy and Vince sound awesome on their verse. (I think it is the 3 of them?!)

Life In The Fast Lane. No jumping from Don at the beginning. I know he jumped at the beginning in Indianapolis. He does do his little jump at the end of the song.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BAmAeNa4dXo

Finally How Long. Timothy and Don talk about Timothy's fall. Poor Timothy. And Don does sing the second verse. I had thought I heard Deacon singing some of the second verse in another video. I know I heard him in another video at another concert. I hope this video is not gone by the time I get home later tonight.

Thank you, Shun! I’m glad to finally see a couple of these.

Take It Easy — Will is playing along; Vince continues to harmonize with Deacon on the “standing on a corner” verse; and I’m so happy to see Vince playing a guitar solo

One of These Nights - you can really hear the strain in Don’s voice but he nails the falsetto parts. I think I’m hearing a little bit of Randy-like high harmonies and I imagine it must be Vince.

How Long— yea, finally! Timothy’s story is cute but he sure left out a lot of detail, LOL. Deacon sounds good here. I’m little surprised that Steuart and not Joe plays the guitar solo.

Deacon seems to close his eyes a lot while singing; it reminds me of Randy.

I saw Will in Take It Easy. So we know he plays on Best Of My Love, Take It Easy and I think I remembered someone say Those Shoes.

I'm glad to see him do more guitar solo. Like I said earlier. I was looking at old video and when Bernie was touring with them on the HOTE tour, they gave Vince Bernie's old part. If I remembered from the videos from last year, Vince was playing acoustic guitar. I don't remembered if it was Joe or Steuart doing that part before Bernie came back. I know Joe does the end guitar solo, but I can't remember the one in the middle.

Also, Will plays on PEF.

I don’t know about HOTE but Joe used to play the middle guitar solo, I guess before Steuart came along. Joe definitely played it back in the 70s and I believe during HFO.

Joe did in the 70s and during HFO tour. I did watch a clip from the HOTE tour and Bernie was playing the middle guitar solo which I think he always did in the 70s before he left the group and then Joe took that part when he joined. He played that part up until Bernie came back to tour with them and now Vince has that part.

I too hear some randy like harmony. I guess it must be Vince but it does help for a song like OOTN with that very high harmony

A week ago I fell and broke my left tibia right at the kneecap and got a really bad bone bruise of my right tibia with a nasty hematoma and a bruise on the side of my hip/leg the size of a dinner plate. Fell on concrete with knees sharply bent, darn it. Got out of the hospital and now I’m in rehab for 6-8 weeks. Just glad all this happened AFTER the concert as I would have been completely heartbroken if I had missed this show.
