You and me both, MarthaJo! I had a hunch Randy would be there. What an awesome night for Poco fans.

Thanks for posting the pics and the FB links, MarthaJo and NMB. It’s great to see and read about Randy. :yay:

I really wanted to go to the Berkeley show, but I also work in entertainment (theater) and we have tech starting soon. Lots of work to put on a show!
I really wish I could have been at The Troubadour! Lots of ghosts & good spirits there!

Lots of photos turning up on social media this morn, even a video of Richie, Randy and Tim hanging out backstage and talking. I love the video, Tim seems to be checking on Randy at one point, being protective of him. Yet another reason to admire the classy Mr. Schmit. I think the video is on Richie’s FB page. It’s like Christmas morning for MeisFans, we’re on a sugar high racing around...

Richie is not guzzling booze, it’s voice syrup from Belgium. https://m.facebook.com/OfficialRichieFuray/?ref=m_notif&notif_t=group_comment_mention

My favorite photo is Randy, Richie and Tim sitting on the couch. It’s on Richie Furay’s FB page (not Richie Furay Music).

There’s a new film clip promoting Richie’s Kickstarter campaign. Randy appears and speaks about Poco’s early shows at the Troubadour at around 3 minutes in, but I cannot get the clip to play past the first few seconds; it freezes up. Gahh! See if you have better luck than me. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/richiefuray/richie-furay-concert-film-live-at-the-troubadour-deliverin

A friend who saw it reports that Randy’s voice is very shaky, poor lamb. He talks about Jim Messina bringing his dog onstage. Still the animal lover. ❤️

I had the same problem when I used Firefox. I switched to another browser- IE - and was able to view it without a problem.

Randy's voice sounds like my granddaddy's used to. I think that just happens to some men as they age - their voice gets that shaky quality.

Didn't expect to see so much Timothy in there, too! I hope they're able to raise the money.

Thank you for the tip, Nancy; I'll try it with IE.

In the meantime, here's a still image from the video obtained by someone more tech-savvy than I. https://imgur.com/eXvWzWIhttps://i.imgur.com/eXvWzWI.jpg

Sorry if that image is overly large. If anyone would advise me on how to cut it down to a proper size, I'll do so.

OK, this is what Randy says in the clip, "Well it's great being here tonight, seeing Richie and the band. Like our first opening night, was just incredible. So many people. I remember Jimmy Messina had his dog come onstage, which was kinda funny."

Finally got to see the clip - several times, woo-hoo!!!

To me, Randy's voice sounds more scratchy than shaky. He met a lot of folks that night, probably not used to talking that much! I hope he's doing well.

Thanks NMB, it’s wonderful to see and hear present-day Randy. His voice doesn’t sound as shaky as I was expecting and he seems to clearly remember that opening night at The Troubadour.

The kickstarter campaign still has a way to go—only 3% has been raised so far with two months left, yikes!

Yes, and his eyes are clear and shining. Certainly indicates he has his wits about him.

Only raised $530, that's dire. I'd like to contribute something. You'd still get a reward, even if the project isn't fully funded, right?

I don’t know, what kind of reward do you mean?

Before the video, I thought he’d already raised a couple of thousand but I guess I’m remembering wrong.

There are rewards listed for various contribution levels. Like for $10 you get a t-shirt (I don't actually remember what you get, this is just an example!), $1,000 you can be named an associate producer of the film. For the really big money, you can have a meal with Richie.

Randy, Timothy and Richie all look great!

I've always wanted to be an associate producer... :-D

Nice to see Randy look so good and happy. I had read in an interview that his vocal cords were damaged as a result of the chocking accident.

Thanks for the high-quality image! I'm afraid the only way to resize it is using a photo editor, but big is OK with me!
