I thought it might be interesting to see some Spotify numbers for Don, Randy and Bernie, given that streaming now generates more earnings for the music industry than physical media and downloads and itís the way most young people listen to music. Of the three, Don is the only one who still has an active music career, and the numbers reflect that.

Don Felder
monthly listeners: 14,443/ followers: 4,871
popular tracks:
1. Hotel California (w/ Styx, 2014)- 575,595
2. Girls in Black - 58,138
3. Fall from the Grace of Love - 44,336
4. Wash Away - 30,486
5. Hotel California (Juan Areco, Aires Flammenco) - 23,797*

Randy Meisner
monthly listeners: 5,468/ followers: 6,175
popular tracks:
1. Hearts on Fire - 372,355
2. Take It to the Limit (s/t Ď78 ) - 91,694
3. Bad Man - 26,810
4. Try and Love Again (Live in Dallas Ď82) - 25,178
5. Save the Last Dance for Me - 23,412

Bernie Leadon
monthly listeners: 1,074 / followers: 1,776

3. How Can You Live Without Love - 17,597
4. Youíre the Singer - 16,481

*not sure why this falls under Donís music, AFAIK he doesnít play on this version. Missing is ďHeavy Metal (Taking a Ride)Ē which isnít on Spotify yet.

Very interesting! Thank you for this, Delilah. How delightful to see that "Hearts On Fire" gets several hundred thousand listens - would this be per month?

Those listens represent the number of total streams, which increase from day to day. Spotify has been around for ten years but Randy and the other guysí music has only been on Spotify a couple of years, if Iím not mistaken. Iím kind of tickled they have a presence on Spotify, especially Randy and Bernie. Neither has been part of the Eagles in 40 years and their success as solo artists was limited. They have had a low musical profile for a long time. Most of the people who listen to their music probably do so on physical media and downloads so why stream?

They probably have more listens on YT.

And yes, itís great to see how popular ďHearts on FireĒ is.

Interesting! Thanks! Bizarre about the mislabeling of that version of HC. I wonder if that affects his earnings from it?
