How about we do Glenn's 1992 San Diego show at our next chat party? It can be kind of an early Christmas party deal! Would Dec. 8 work for everyone?

Dumb question: What are you exactly doing at this party? Is it right when I assume you are watching the same DVD at the same time and talk about it? Does this work?

8 pm? This must be 2 or 3 am the next day in Germany.

Yes, that's what we do - it really stinks that it's at such an inconvenient time for you! Athough if you find yourself up late... please come in!

I'm hoping I will get to come. Let's see, where can hubby go? Darn, we still have too much snow for raccoon hunting which is his second love of all time! Maybe there will be an important not to be missed basketball game on the tv in the family room! I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

Somehow, I don't think he would enjoy watching San Diego with us!

I hope this doesn't offend anyone, but my hubby is quite a "hunter"! Raccoons and deer mostly. And only in season and legal! It's a sporting thing.

Ok I know alot of people deer hunt for the meat, but do you eat the raccoon meat? Or is it a pest control thing?

No, we don't eat it! Never have, but there are people that do. I've heard raccoon meat is pretty greasy. The fur is sold and it's a sport dog thing. There are actually world class 'coon hunting dogs and 'coon hunting races. I have been with my husband a few times and to me it's not a lot of fun chasing a dog through the woods in the dark. But lots of men around here have great fun at it. A competition.

As for deer meat, I don't care for it either, but it is very lean and better for you than beef or pork.

I hope this doesn't offend you Brooke but I've never understand people who hunt animals just for fun. It's my opinion.

No, no offense taken. It's just different strokes for different folks as they say. I live in a rural area and hunting of all kinds is very popular among the men.
