Had some trouble signing in this evening. Don't know if it is related to the glitch already mentioned but thought I'd pass the info along.

Another glitch just now trying to access the board directly. I went to EOC and came in from there.

The board has been offline for me from 11PM Central US Time until just now at 1AM Central US Time. Just FYI. :) No page error like before or anything. It just couldn't find the address like the site was completely down. Said something about it couldn't find the DNS server.

Yeah, it's moving really slow for me today and sometimes it even says the page can't be found.

It's very slow in connecting to the server for each request and sometimes the connection times out. Usually a deadlock situation. I thought it was because I'm on my company's network (they're always slow) but I guess everyone is having issues.

Yep - it seems like we go through this problem for a short while every few months. Usually after a few days things improve. Hopefully, that will be the case again. Got my fingers and toes crossed. :wink:

You don't copy a link. You copy the actual emoticon itself. You won't see it until you submit it.

You must be looking at 'save picture as' instead of going further down the menu to 'copy'. I'm using Windows 7.

I swear, I am! lol I am directly on the image itself, right clicking but as I said, I am not getting the usual menu options that come when say i'm trying to copy and paste something. It's giving me 'copy image' or 'copy image url'. I selected copy image but when I come back to here and right click and select paste, it's blank! Nothing shows up!! What I did above was the 'copy image URL' just to show u that's the other option it's giving me. It's frustrating because I actually do know how to do these things but something is amiss somewhere and I don't know why and now it's driving me bonkers and I am on a mission to figure this out. I really appreciate your trying to help me. I'm as baffled as can be at the moment.

Apparently there is something wrong with my Chrome settings. I am in Firefox now and as you can see, it's working fine.

WELL after messing with this ridiculously silly problem, I've at least figured out a way to post the dang smilies. I have to use the 'insert image' option above and then paste what I've copied into that. A bit more trouble, but holy smokes that was driving me BONKERS!!!
