Didn't know where else to put this. I was on ebay looking for Chris Rea albums and I found this picture in one of the auctions. Check out the caption in the corner of it!

That's so cool!
That's exactly what happened to me! :blueblob:
Just found this - part of a review from The Birmingham Mail c.July 2009
It made me laugh!!:hilarious:Quote:
"Joe is lovably eccentric – when introducing “Life’s Been Good” he said - “If I’d known I was gonna have to play this for the rest of my life I’d have written something else.”
I found this today (apologies if it has been posted already).

Thanks for posting that link, EF. I got quite a few giggles out of reading that interview. I found this question to be really interesting and a very different take on this than Felder's account.

IMWT: Let's settle it: who wrote the "Hotel California" solo, you or Don Felder?
JW: I would think that's a joint effort. The lead parts that we trade off, he came up with his, I came up with mine. And the stuff that we played together was worked out together.
Yeah, cute interview. Joe is his usual hilarious self, but he seems very serious during the HC parts bit. I'm like dreamer, interesting. :hmm:
McCartney interview, about halfway down in the birthday section, he talks about Joe helping him "gobsmack" (l love that term) Ringo for his birthday
